Up today, I have a Q&A from BabyBooBoo93. You may remember him from his contest entry in our recent ABDL Photo Contest. Today he's taking some time to let you get to know him a little bit better, answering a Q&A.

When did you first realize you were
ABDL?
It was a gradual thing. I started off
by sucking my thumb as an escape from my daily life. Then I decided I wanted a
pacifier because it would be better than thumb sucking. When I went to buy my
pacifier, I saw the adult diaper aisle and I wanted to get them too but I
didn’t have enough money on me at the time so I just got my pacifiers and went
home. Every time my family went to the store after that I always looked at the
adult diapers as we walked pass the aisles. Finally, I worked up the courage to
bike to the pharmacy and bought myself a package of Depends pull-ups.
What steps did you take to get your
diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?
Starting at age 14, I biked to a
local pharmacy and bought adult diapers. Before that, I made my own out of
towels or multiple pairs of underwear.
Do your parents and/or siblings
know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?
My parents found my stash once a few
years ago. To say they were upset would be an understatement. I lost all
computer/electronics privileges and was practically under 24/7 surveillance for
months. Now they think I am “over it”.
Have you dealt with the shame and
regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.
No.
For collegebabies/DLs, did this
interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?
No, but I haven’t lived in the dorms
or with other students yet.
How has this fetish affected your
social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?
It hasn’t because no one in real life
knows about it.
Some experts believe that we become
the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse
and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?
My parents divorced when I was 6. My
mom verbally abused me to the point where I was suicidal when I was 13 years
old. Diapers literally saved my life because they helped me go back to a time
before my life became a living hell.
For the little dunces, please tell
us about what it was like to discover this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet.
Please be at least 18 at the time of writing, but be specific about what age
you discovered it, what sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious
reasons.
I started by searching for adult
diapers when I was 13/14 years old and found Deeker’s Diaper Page. I read many of the stories on that site,
and the thought of being a baby and having a mommy or daddy care for me was
very comforting.
Do your interests involve a subset
of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy,
sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific
here; just tell us what you think people should know.
I would like a strict mommy or daddy
that would spank me (preferably over my diapers) when I am bad.
What % of your sexual activities
and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?
0%. Diapers are just a way for me to
cope with stress in my life.
If you get into the regression
aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have
feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes
you feel.
In addition to wearing diapers, I
also suck on pacifiers, drink from a bottle, and wear babyish clothes like
overalls and footed sleepers. When I buy my diapers I try to get the most
babyish ones I can. I really like Bambino diapers because they are thick and
have babyish prints across the front. I just ordered a 10-pack of Cushies
diapers and I can’t wait for those to come.
