Follow Me On Tumblr?

I'm not nearly as active on Tumblr as I am here, but I have been posting diaper stories there (with links back to Abysitter.com). I only have 125 followers there, which makes me sad. So if you're on Tumblr, click the logo below, find my Tumblr blog, and hit it up.

Anyone Else Miss This?

I know I do.

I miss Aby.com.

A time when websites were free, copyright was respected, and we were just beginning to discover ourselves as a community.

I made a lot of dope-ass diaper friends on Aby.com.

Doubt it will make a return. I'm told that the former owner of DPF.com is hoping to get at least $100,000 for that domain name. No doubt Davee realizes he's sitting on something of value - more valuable than an ABDL website.

I was reminded of this logo when I went to a Tumblr blog page and saw hundreds of photos ripped from this website. Don't get me started on photo theft. But I definitely miss some of the people I saw pictures of.

Some must've grown up. And that sucks.

If you and I were previously friends on any of the old, out-of-existence websites, and you still read my blog, hit me up: abysitter@gmail.com.

Diaper Site For Sale

No, not this one.

Not sure if this is legit, but here's an auction for an ABDL fetish paid subscription site for sale online that claims to make $24K a year. Anyone looking for that new investment?

Follow Me On Twitter!

I logged on to Twitter recently
and was surprised to see that I've amassed
a following of
728
followers.

#WTF!

This despite the fact that I barely tweet.

I actually kinda neglect my followers.

I've got an iPhone,
and it's hella easy to tweet from it now.
But I just never think of it.

I think about diapers a lot during the day.
I could just tweet my thoughts...
...and I don't.

I do feel bad about it.

I'm going to try to do better.

If you're on Twitter,
and your Twitter is #ABDL,
follow me:

By the way... I'm also on Tumblr now:

I'm up to 40 followers.

My Tumblr is more or less a way to feature
the Tumblr blogs of friends
who post original stuff,
and links to my blog.
I'll try to post some original stuff there, too...
so if you are on Tumblr,
I'd love to have you as a follower:

Lastly, if you see me on any diaper sites...
request me!

Find Me On Other Sites...

I am on a shit ton of diaper sites.

Some of them I'me very active on.

Others, not so much.

It pisses me off how I've lost contact with some of y'all, think you've quit the scene, and then I see that you're still active on some new diaper website. WTF?

Thanks for hitting me up, but I wish we'd been talking for the last year. Damn, bro.

I'm writing an entry to link all of you to all of my profiles on the different diaper sites I'm on. If you're on any of them, please hit me up with a request - I accept almost everyone - or a message?

NOTE: If you want to read a poll I did on the different diaper sites last year, check this out. It gives a lot of information about some of the different community sites, including some that I'm not a regular user of and have no interest in being a part of. Check it out.

I should probably note that the two sites that I always leave out are the two that send my blog the most traffic: Daily Diapers (which I don't even think I'm a member of...) and ABKingdom, a fucking awesome website that sends me a ton of my traffic. Who knew there were so many French babies? I might move to Paris... find me on ABKingdom here. It's a site I plan to be on more in the future. If only I spoke Français.

Read above. Add me! I only have two friends there and it makes me sad.

The site I probably use most of all is RUPadded.com, although this is slowly changing over time. I love the site and it's 99:1 guy/girl ratio. Plus, it seems like, lately, people there are pretty friendly. Still, occasional site glitches leave me annoyed. They have an iPhone app but it doesn't always work, and I find it impossible to send messages, leaving me one of the people who send requests hoping that the person responding won't think me an asshole and just ignore me. Now that I'm on my Mac more I do send some messages. If you're on RUP please feel free to hit me up. And if I ever requested you without sending a message don't take it personally, I just couldn't send a message from my iPhone unless you had sent me one first. www.rupadded.com/abysitter

FetLife is a fetish site, although I am forever saddened not to find enough people from our community into other fetishes - especially spanking. Y'all know I like spanking and diaper discipline. FetLife is a great, fast site with a ton of features and, best of all, everything works perfectly from my iPhone. Still, the site has a lot of chicks - no offense to my female readers - and I've found that girls on ABDL websites oft tend to be self-centered bitches who love to threaten to "quit the scene if one more creeper sends me a message!" so that lovelorn little diaper boys will come to their defense. (Throws up in mouth). I also am turned off by some of the forum posts... a TON of drama. Still, if you like to explore other fetishes, meet new people, and can avoid drama, hit me up on FetLife.

If you were a reader of my blog last summer you probably remember me posting links for ABDLC. I liked it because it was fresh and clean, new, and worked really well. It's since attracted a lot of the same people you see on the other sites, and has a ton of server issues glitches... but it's still a pretty positive community. If you're on it, request me as a friend?

I have been a member of Diaper-bois.net for years, since before RUPadded actually, but for some reason it claims I've only been a member for three years. I don't get that, but whatever. I actually stopped using it for a while because I thought it sucked - I had some bad experiences in a chat watching some Pac-NW bullies picking on what I assume to be a mentally challenged ABDL, heard some more stories about the chat bullies there, and was unimpressed by having to pay for access. I've had a bunch of people hit me up recently telling me to try it again, so I did, and so far, besides drama and some fake profiles, I'm liking it: fast, things seem to work, and I can send/receive messages from my phone. Get at me!

I am hardly ever on Diaperspace. My first account got deleted over a year ago, either for lack of use or some other drama - I hadn't been on it for more than a year. The page for Abysitter is still there, though, leading some people to think I am ignoring their friend requests. I've noticed that Diaperspace seems like it's dying... has anyone else noticed this too? I hadn't gotten a message there for more than a year, and I recently noticed that the site's own moderators haven't updated their website greeting since 2010, wtf? Anyway, if you're on that site, send me a friend request.

Other Sites - This Isn't A Link LOL
I rely on you guys, my dope-ass readers, to let me know about up-and-coming diaper websites so I can join them and share them with everyone. I'm a member of some other sites that I use so rarely lately I won't even include them here. Anyone know any websites I should check out or get re-acquained with? If so, holla at me!

Eric Sposito

Some of the hottest website diaper pictures I've seen online.

These photos were taken several years ago by Eric Sposito (www.ericshow.canalblog.com); thanks to BlueAudio for the link. I know this blog is now defunct, but my blog has a pretty wide reader base... if anyone knows how to get in touch with Mr. Sposito, or if anyone connected with this shoot reads my blog, please email me: abysitter@gmail.com and put me in touch.

Merchant Profile: Never Grown Up

In several weeks I'll be announcing an exciting new contest. The contest is sponsored by Never Grown Up, an ABDL merchant specializing in cloth diapers, onesies, rompers, and other ageplay clothing.

Never Grown Up is owned by Devianttouch.

Unlike some of the ABDL hucksters out there, Devianttouch is ABDL himself.

"I started the store because I wanted to have clothing and diapers that felt like styles I would enjoy, and I found that other people liked them too," he says.

A little more about Devianttouch: he is an instructor in the BDSM community. He teaches at a wide variety of events on ageplay and other classes too. You can read more about his areas of expertise by visiting his FetLife profile.

You can visit his website, Never Grown Up, by visiting http://www.etsy.com/shop/nevergrownup, or just click on the banner below.

I'll be announcing contest details, and prizes, on August 12. In the meantime, here's a hint: get your true college (or college-aged) stories ready...

ABDLC

This weekend I'd like to turn you on to a new ABDL community: www.ABDLC.com.

Short for ABDL Community, this website is a mashup of Facebook and Fetlife in functionality, with the same ease of use and quickness both sites are known for. The 'community' is small so far - 354 members as of this posting, only a fraction of those on RUPadded or ABKingdom - but it seems to be a pretty dedicated group, and it's growing quickly.

ABDLC has some pretty cool features, including a section for blogs, albums and videos, and a forum. It also has a chat, which I have yet to find any members in, probably because the community is still growing.

I know a lot of people are already overwhelmed with so many different ABDL websites, and I've already suggested a few this week. But here's one more I recommend, so check it out.

Check out the site: www.abdlc.com. And if you join and you're a regular reader of Abysitter.com, please hit me up with a request: http://abdlc.com/index.php/profile/abysitter. My name there is Cwis, and my username is Abysitter.

See you there...

Please take my BRANDING POLL!

Abysitter.com 'Branding' Poll

I would like to invite you to take part

This is a survey to measure
the respect and trust various brands known to the AB/DL community
have achieved amongst our members.

This is Part I of the survey.

Part I seeks to determine which diaper community websites
have attained the trust and respect of our community - and which have not.

Please answer as honestly as possible.

Please answer all of the questions.

Part II will be released next week.
It will focus on products marketed to the ABDL community, including diapers,
and the merchants who sell them.

Any questions?
Email abysitter@gmail.com.

Friends Don't Let Friends ADISC.org

In 2009 I joined a website called ADISC. It purports itself to be an AB/DL forum/support group. I was entirely unimpressed; despite having a large number of members, the forums I read seemed to be dominated by a small number of snarky, petty Internet Trolls.

I mentioned ADISC in my blog entry on survey results.

Today I got an email from an AB, Trav, who had just recently taken my survey and read the posts that go along with it. He told me that he, too, had tried ADISC - but had quit when the Trolls began picking at each post he left.

Trav told me that "some of the mods are the worst ones!" and I knew exactly what he was talking about. Last year, before I knew the deal with ADISC, I had friend requested someone on another website who had posted that he was a moderator for ADISC. He sent me a message, in response to my request, telling me that he wasn't even sure he'd be around long because ADISC was so much better, "IMHO". I knew right then that I was talking to a Forum Troll, because only Forum Trolls use shit like "IMHO". I withdrew my request, and he left nasty messages on my profile. (He's since posted that he is no longer an ADISC moderator because of some ADISC drama). LOLLERS.

Trav's point in messaging me was to link me to a forum post that he felt illustrates the ills of ADISC. He sent it to me in a second email, titled simply: "The post responses are exactly what ADISC is about."

Want to read it? Click here.

In the post, a user, Skizzybaby - who has apparently been banned since this post was submitted - tells about how he is extremely happy because he has the use of a crib in his bedroom. His post, in fact, is titled "I'm So Happy With My Baby Crib!" lol.

Skizzy goes on to explain that he had relatives visiting from out of town, so his mother purchased a crib from a department store with the intention of returning it.

"2 weeks ago my aunt and uncle came to vist from california, they just had a new baby boy, and were comming to stay with us for 2 days. before they left they told my mom and dad that they needed a crib as they couldnt take one on the airplane, even if it was broken down. So my mom went out and bought a new babycrib, with meesh screens and babyzoo animals all around it, and its babyblue, MY FAVORITE COLOR! she said she would return it to the store after they left, but i went threw her purse and threw away the reciept."

Do you spy the problem yet?

User Zephy did:

"Fine, I'll be the one to say it. You planning on paying your mom back for that? Those aren't free and I'm sure she planned on getting the money back. This is no different than stealing diapers, or than stealing money from your parents to get something. In fact, you even went through her purse to get the receipt, just like people who are addicted to drugs. I don't really see a reason to brag about what you have done."

What a fucking tightass, right?

That, my friends, is an Internet Troll.

The post then goes on for several days, with various ADISC member trolls jumping in on the original poster (OP, in trollspeak) to bash him for his actions, which they compare to - and I am not making this up - a drug addict trying to get his fix, and an ABDL previously arrested for breaking into a stranger's house and stealing/wearing baby diapers.

Skizzy explains that his parents make a combined $700K+/year and won't be hurt by the deception; trolls get even madder, shouting "that's not the point!!"

It goes on from there. Member troll GasshaHuzza (wtf?) chimes in to let Skizzy know it has nothing to do with the money:

"I'm not going to talk for the entire site, maybe not even half of it. But a lot of people have this thing called 'self control.' A lot of TBs wouldn't steal something just so they could indulge in their fetish."

Okay, sure. Skizzy (and several other members) explain that, in a battle of 'self control' vs. crib, crib wins. This makes the trolls even angrier, and hilarity ensues.

Take user Fire2Box, for example:

"That doesn't make it any more right though. I am in agreement with Zep myself that what you did is wrong.. you intentional made it impossible for her to return it only to please yourself. I'm even willing to bet you knew it was wrong from the time you even came up with the idea, but you still went though with it. and saying this doesn't affect us is kind of wrong... it's like saying Deeker's doesn't affect us, or scat videos doesn't affect us.. even though those people make even the good AB/DL's look bad since that's what people could associate with AB/DL/TB's."

Now Skizzy - a kid who saw an opportunity to keep a playpen (see picture) and took it - is making all ABDLs look bad? He's comparable to Deeker?

Stop, thief! The next Deeker?

The drama continues unabated, with even a moderator stepping in to let everyone know that Skizzy's mother is ALSO a thief, and it takes a thief to raise a thief; his mother, remember, was going to return an item to a store she'd had no intention of keeping in the first place!

Lol.

At many different points Skizzy tries to end the argument by saying, point blank, he doesn't want to argue anymore - and attempting to change the subject. Fire2box's response?

"Just because you two don't like hearing other people's opinions, doesn't mean everyone else should be required to shut up just since you don't like it. If Skizzy knew how adisc operates, he should known members have a wide view of ideals, right and wrong and morality. Stealing anything can become controversial. But once again (like his first topic), he made a topic solely to gloat and is now upset that it actually backfired. To me, this is all very childish on his part, but in the bad childish way."

The bad childish way. Someone seem a little jealous?

At this point it becomes obvious that our Troll is not a simple run-of-the-mill troll, but a Stalker Troll - a very serious situation indeed. Skizzy notices it, too:

"firebox im not gloating, im just sharing stuff that happens in my life, and sharing it with people who are interested in the same things. and im not upset i just dont like argueing over something that dosnt affect anyone else but me. damn leave me alone man, you comment everyone of my posts and say something bad or contadicting, just stop its getting old."

It gets old for six or seven more pages before Skizzy posts that he repaid his mother for the cost of the playpen and a moderator, perhaps sensing that the Trolls will never be satisfied, closes the forum for drama.

Sigh... the whole site could probably be closed for "drama".

My problem with ADISC isn't the fact that it allows adults and children to intermingle in one single location for very adult-related conversations - although I admit that is a problem, other sites do that, too.

My problem is that, in the majority of the ADISC forum posts that I've read, Member Trolls dominate the conversation. They are, in essence, nothing more than bullies hiding behind a keyboard. My first foray into the world of ADISC was my last; I posted a response to a post and there were, almost immediately, two responses criticizing my post: one because I had not first posted an "introduction" (I needed to become familiar with how ADISC worked, I was told) and another because my avatar was not in cartoon form. I posted an "introduction" to satisfy my first critic, and let my second critic know I found the cartoon avatar distasteful as it basically lets adults and children talk about sexual stuff with total anonymity. (No response from that person).

In the years since I've seen lots of other troubling, bullying, negative, posts. In fact, in my news alert for ABDL, ADISC is one site that regularly comes up, so I see them often.

I hope that nobody ever explores their ABDL side by going to ADISC, because anyone's first experience with our lifestyle should be a positive one. Reading through the forum post that Trav sent me made me realize how many snarky people our community has - and how they all tend to gather in one place.

"Friends don't let friends ADISC" is the title of my blog entry today. And while I know that 25% of my readers are ADISC members - and I wouldn't ever ask you to stop - I hope that those of you who do venture there are among the more positive influences on the site.

ADISC can't be all bad. It was probably started with good intentions, but slowly, over time, as with most internet forums on any subject, some members begin to see themselves as having an ownership stake, and take to bully-ish, Troll-type behaviors to stake their claim. There has to be some good, right? I just don't spend much time on the site, and haven't seen it yet?

I hope?

Our community gets assailed too much from the outside world to be continuously picking at each other. If someone within our little circle of friends gets a baby crib, don't be so quick to judge how he came by it. If you are the type who simply must judge, throw your stones and then run back into your glass house and shut the fuck up.

Bullies: fuck off!

Internet trolls: fuck you too!

Skizzy: hope you're still enjoying your crib (playpen? Lol) in spite of the jealous, bitter Stalker Trolls on ADISC.

Blog Swap Friday: A Closet Life!

I'd like to direct your attention to my friend James' blog: http://www.aclosetlife.com.

James has been blogging since November. He's already attracted a number of loyal followers, including quite a few of my readers, judging from the survey I put out earlier this year.

James, a 26 year-old DL from New England, blogs about his life in, and out, of diapers. You'll read about his sharing his DL life with his wife, his decision-making process about entering the military, and his recent venturing out into the real world, meeting up with other ABDLs - first, a daddy, and second, a group of like-minded folks at a Littles Munch.

He's also got commentary into the community, diaper reviews, and - for you photo lovers - some photos of himself.

James is very active on Twitter (@ClosetDL), too.

Check him out, and look for the 'follow' button on the right side of his blog.

I'll be posting more blogs here in the future. If you've got an ABDL (or similar fetish/lifestyle) blog and would like to swap links, email me at abysitter@gmail.com. Your blog does not need to have a huge following, I'll even swap with new blogs too... I was a new blogger, once. But if your blog is merely a collection of photos stolen from diaper sites, I'll pass. FYI. Now hit me up! Or, if you don't blog, check out the one above!

Baby Pictures: ABDL86

Next up, some cute baby pictures from another ABDL blogger. His blog is in the links to the right, or just click visit www.MyABDLLife.com. Check out his stuff, it's full of observations on the ABDL lifestyle and there's some stuff babyfurs should enjoy, as well. I think you'll enjoy it.

From his own words...

"I am a baby boy from Sweden. I love to wear and use my diaper and my great wish is to find someone who likes me for who I am. I love to put on a diaper and my shirt. Sometimes you just wish that you were a kid again. To be an an adult has nothing for me. Being an adult does not feel like my true self. I am a baby trapped in an adult's body. Each night as I sleep with my stuffed animal in my arms, it makes me feel very good. I love him. He is my best friend."

He is also a prolific Twitter tweeter. If you have an ABDL-friendly account with Twitter, follow him! #abdl86.

Thanks for the pictures, and thanks for linking to my blog, I always appreciate it!

RUP: New Mobile Site!

If you log on to RUPadded from your iPhone today you'll see a little iPhone icon in the menu bar at the bottom of your screen. Click it; it will take you straight to the site's new mobile page. From there you'll be able to do just about everything you can do on your desktop, from what I've seen so far.

Not sure if all the functions are there, but it allows you to switch back to the full site if needed. One thing you CAN do is send and reply to mail messages... very nice! Before I had to go to their iPhone app to do that, and I could only send messages to people who'd messaged me... grrrr.

You can also post messages on another user's wall, which I can't even figure out how to do from the full site, so... expect to see some wall postings from me if you're on my friend list.

UPDATE: I'm told this site works for all smartphones, including iPhones, Blackberries, Android, Palm phones, and even iPads too. Check it out, and I'll post the mobile link to the site when it's up and running. Nice job on this, I'm liking it a lot... hope other diaper community and fetish sites follow suit.

A few screenshots from my iPhone...

You can find a link to the mobile site by going to RUPadded.com and clicking on the phone icon on the menu bar. RUPadded also has an actual iPhone app; you'll find that on the website, as well.

Check it out...

I'm on FetLife!

I'd browsed around it in the past, but wasn't a member until today. So many of you mentioned FetLife in my recent survey that I just had to join.

If you're on the site, hit me up: my username is abysitter. Just click this dope-ass banner below and it will take you straight to my profile there.
