Shouts to Ben for sharing this amazing internet find with me! This is an old video of a DPF.com-organized gathering that someone found from a VHS tape and posted (with some cringeworthy commentary) on their YouTube. Actually, this looks so old it probably pre-dated the dot com, and just been a DPF event: Baby Week 1990.

Those of you who have been to CAPCON or TeddyCon etc. will marvel at shots from this event. It's long and I haven't even had a chance to watch it all myself yet.

YouTube Tuesday!

I recently reblogged a video on Tumblr that contained a Russian kid wearing a diaper for a bungee jump, much to the excitement and enthusiasm of his friends. That got me to thinking about the old YouTube Tuesday videos I used to post, circa 2009-2010 when ABDL content on the internet was hard to come by. I started clicking around YouTube, and hours later I found myself watching video after video featuring Russians - or at least those who appear to be from eastern Europe - rocking Pampz. Fucking dope.

There's something fascinating about the fact that our fetish is the same across the world. We are so different from people in other countries, but an urgent need to be diapered and/or babied afflicts us all. The word

means something powerful to them, just like the word diaper does to us.

Whether you're rocking подгузники, wearing डायपर, waddling around in pannolini, or padded in حفاضات - or whatever you choose to call them - the word means something to us that is hard to describe.

From YouTuber Shane Dawson's channel: The Wierd Side of YouTube: Adult Babies: Shane's interview with BinkyPrincess. Shane has 9.7 million followers, so this is a pretty big bump for ABDL - we'll have to wait to see if that's good or bad. In the meantime, why do I suspect we'll be seeing this guy posing in Pampers pretty damn soon?

Here's a great video from some kink-friendly (but reportedly non-ABDL) folks based in Seattle talking about AB/DL. Lots of good information, some humor - Depend jokes galore - and two certified hotties using all of our terminology. Hot. 

One of them explains that he used to enjoy peeing in wetsuits, and kinda transfers this to an interest in diapers. They talk about the crossover between AB/DL and other kinks, as well.

Diapered Mental Patient? [Video]

Earlier this week I caught a video making the rounds on Tumblr. It featured a supposed "mental patient" escaping from a "hospital" - dressed only in a disposable diaper. 

In the video (from LiveLeak), the man runs through a crowd, down a sidewalk, only to be apprehended by the police and walked back to the "hospital." 

A few people told me that they thought that the video might be fake. 

I'm betting it's not. 

I suspect what the video actually shows is a drug addict who has been dressed in a diaper and, either about to be put in a cage-like crib or four-point restraints, has panicked and tried to run. 

The video appears to be filmed in Russia. 

Russia is a country with a very large drug and alcohol problem.

It is also a country with outdated views on many things - including homosexuality, medicine, adoption, and - as we see in this case, I believe - drug treatment. 

I've read stories about drug addicts being diapered in Russia several times. For many addicts on the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum there, "treatment" consists of being tied to a bed for several days during the withdrawal period. Some of those who treat addicts in Russia aren't even licensed; they're just people who addicts' families (or sometimes addicts) can pay to help them separate themselves from their addictions. Often addicts are stripped, diapered, and restrained. They don't leave their bed until withdrawal symptoms disappear. 

The video on Tumblr included the caption that suggested many of us would likely make up our own fantasy situations about what was going on in it. And I'll admit, on a purely fantasy level, it's kind of hot. 

But when you consider that drug addiction in Russia has a very poor treatment rate - and start wondering what happened to the addict (or "mental patient") in the video - it kinda sucks.

I discovered this in my newsfeed on Facebook last week. It's YouTube user SpaceJamGardenz. He's got over 338,000 subscribers, and thousands of followers on Facebook, where he goes by the name Li'l Moco. 

His videos aren't exactly my sense of humor, but this one - Cholo Bedtime Story - has some elements of ageplay, so I had to throw it up here. It has more than 100,000 views. No diapers, but he does were a footed sleeper at the end. And sucks his thumb. It's kinda cute...

Movie Alert: Grow Up Already

Thanks to alert reader Vincent VanGoo for the tip on this movie: Grow UP Already! This is an indie short film, billed as a comedy, with a running length of 10 minutes. It was actually released in 2011 but has been making the rounds of film festivals right up through this year. It's only available for viewing as of now online, and the cost isn't cheap: according to the movie's Facebook page you can get $20 off of your membership ($49). Eek! That's a case of diapers. According to the director's YouTube, however, you do get a one week trial...

From a review at FilmThreat.com: 

"Still wearing diapers, hand-fed by his parents and sleeping in a crib, despite appearing to be in his low-to-mid-thirties, Andy’s (Johnny Simmons) arrested development is too much for his girlfriend (Odette Annable) to deal with anymore. After she leaves him, Andy is forced to confront his life and, with the help of his equally child-like friend Bunky (Ethan Suplee), makes the conscious decision to finally grow up.

Sure, it’s mainly a one-note affair, but the execution is funny and, for a comedy short, that’s pretty much what you want to see. And while it takes the manchild motif to a literal extreme, it works by painting the more complex feelings of growth and maturity with a cartoonish brush. Plus, at 10 minutes, it doesn’t wear out its welcome, or the joke, while still giving us character growth for Andy. In the end, it’s a funny short film about that moment where we have to become the masters of our own lives, and the arduous work that can follow such a decision (I can’t imagine re-potty training)."

This movie stars Johnny Simmons (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) and Odette Annable (recurring roles on House, MD, Golden Boy, and New Girl, among others). In addition, the mom is played by Frances Fisher, who was the mom in Titanic. Pretty mainstream cast for such a non-mainstream film.

I hope to see it soon, if the free trial works hehe. If anyone has seen it, feel free to comment with a review. Since its Facebook page only has 188 likes, I'm guessing it hasn't yet made the ABDL website forum rounds, though.

Up today I have a selection of YouTubes from a website I was recently steered to by DoggyBabyJr. The site is IWannaBeABaby.com. I'm not sure WTF it's all about, but the production of the site is top-notch, and their video production quality for the first video embedded below is something else! You'll see what I mean...

On their page you'll find a selection of photos of adults with pacifiers and a page where you can download wallpaper and ringtones, too. It seems to be a marketing ploy for a children's clothing manufacturer (link here, but note that these are actual children's clothes). If anyone knows the deal behind this fantastic (and fantastically weird) website, let me know?

Today's YouTube Tuesday comes to me courtesy of DoggyBabyJr., who got it from ksartkid. It's one of the Harlem Shake videos that are sweeping the internet. This one was created by the Kansas University Men's Basketball team. See if you can spot the adorable jock in the footed sleeper and bib...

...and below that, two more, the first including two sleepers, and the last - also courtesy of DoggyBabyJr. - that could probably be described as the Harlem Shake: Diaper Edition. Can anyone in our community outdo this one?

YouTube Tuesdays: Sean Banan

Today's YouTube Tuesday video comes to us courtesy of Riley - username DirtyLilDSecret - who found a video - and some awesome pictures - of performer Sean Banan performing in a diaper. 

If you're wondering who Sean Banan is - so was I. It appears that he's a Swedish-Iranian comedian and musician who's made one full-length movie (which was panned by critics). I'm thinking Sasha Barron Cohen (Barat, etc.) but I'm not from that part of the country so I don't know. 

What I do know is this video is fun to watch. I've included the pictures, too, for effect.
