I woke up wet, which is funny because I can't remember actually peeing - I think just being at the cottage helps me bedwet naturally.
After a change I lay back down in bed, peered through the mesh of the toddler rail, and h-h-humped it - third time in twelve hours.
When I finished up I changed again; I'm flying back to FL soon and meh - no point in bringing back TOO many diapers, right?
[SIDE NOTE: WTF re: me finding a bag of Attends for $14 here, instead of the $24 I pay in Orlando?!]
I lay in bed for a while, YIMing and texting with a few diaperboys I've become close with, giving them updates. Hungwy bow, I climbed into the car - the driver's seat, since I'm not fortunate enough to have my own personal abysitter, grr - and drove to Dunkin' Donuts for a coffee. Yum yum yummo! I got a paper, too; as I leaned over to grab the paper out of the box a breeze from a passing big rig took my shirt - whoosh! - and the fact that I was wearing a diaper, sticking way up over my sagging swim trunks, would have been obvious to everyone in the Amish van behind me. SCORE!
I drove around sipping coffee, checking out the local scenery. It is straight beautiful here, and every summer I consider moving back. This is where my heart is; Orlando has a few cool people and good winter weather, but it can't hold a candle to the Finger Lakes region in July. Sigh...
I drove past a competitive cyclist pulled over by the side of the road, and I decided to stop to see if he needed any help. I love a hot behind in a diaper. Speedos are probably a close second, followed by a triple seat tighty whiteys. But Lycra bike shorts are definitely in my top five, and this boy had one beautiful bottom. I pulled over out of an altruistic sense of doing something good for a possibly-stranded cyclist, but the chance to see his ass up close certainly wasn't something I was going to pass up.
"Got a flat?" I asked him. He laughed and explained that he'd just fixed one; now he was figuring out where he was. I gave him his coordinates and helped with directions to where he was headed. He thanked me and introduced himself - Mason from Albany, NY - and then appeared uncomfortable for a minute, before asking if I knew when he'd be passing a fast food restaurant.
"A few miles ahead," I told him. He grimaced and inquired about a gas station. "A few miles in the other direction," I explained. He shook his head.
"I actually was hoping for something a lot closer," he confided. "I was needing to use a rest room."
The irony of this is that, while I was giving him directions, I'd wet myself. Not just a little; an XL coffee had almost been consumed in it's entirety, and I'd already had to piss to begin with. So with this beautiful specimen of athleticism standing a foot away from me I'd soaked a Pamper - I love wetting in front of noobs. 0_o
"Huge oak over there," I pointed out. "I'll watch the bike?"
He looked at it, then back at me.
"I thought about that," he said. "But so many people keep passing by... I'm not sure..."
I'd thought cyclists were used to this?
Then it occurred to me: my new friend Mason didn't have to pee.
He was afraid to drop his bike shorts and go.
I didn't blame him.
"Want a ride to McDonalds?" I asked him. He eagerly nodded and pulled his bike to a street sign, locking it up. He grabbed a bag off of the bike and opened the passenger door, sitting down next to me. Off we went.
"I'm sorry to have you go out of your way," he said. I shook my head and told him to forget it.
"What do you usually do when this happens?" I asked him. "Gas stations can be a 45-minute bike ride out here."
Mason began a very detailed explanation of the various ways he relieves himself, from whipping his junk out and pissing on long descents (I'm not kidding) to asking people if they'd consider letting him inside "to stink up your bathroom" - couldn't tell if he was kidding or not, but he claims people often oblige him.
When we'd gotten to the McD's he said to me - and I SWEAR I am not making this up - "If they made a diaper I could wear under my bike shorts that'd be the easiest." I gulped as he laughed and exited the car, entering the restaurant with haste.
I half considered pulling a diaper out of my diaper bag and slipping it into Mason's sack. I hate - H A T E ! - when people make joking references to diapers, because I'm always left wondering if they're ABDL - but afraid to ask. In the end I decided to skip it...
Mason came back out a few minutes later with two huge drinks. He offered me my choice of diet or regular, I thanked him, and off we went. He explained that he'd hoped to make it to Buffalo by nightfall, and as he gave me his route he slurped on his drink.
"Pretty big drink for a kid who's joking about diapers helping him get through the ride," I said - why not try to throw it out there and get a feel for it, right? Mason laughed.
"This? Naw - this'll be turned into sweat in the first hour, bro."
He didn't refer to diapers again, and I was glad I hadn't dropped a Pamper into his bag. I dropped him off at his bike and he asked if I'd be in the area in a few weeks when he returns. I explained that I'd be returning to FL in days, and he mentioned that he vacations there every winter.
"I'll look you up on Facebook," he said, repeating my name. "You drove me five miles to take a shit. Maybe I can repay the favor."
I laughed and drove off, still checking out that tight behind in my rearview. Diapered, Mason would be... something else. Grrr.
I returned to the cottage and undressed, picking up my towel and trunks and walking down to the shore. A li'l video:

I'm sitting here now, waiting for the water to calm down so I can go canoeing. Typing this blog on my iPhone, three things have happened:
1. I've soaked my diaper some more.
2. I had to put swim trunks on because my elderly neighbor came our to water plants with lakewater - WTF?
3. I'm glad I did, because while I was deep in YIM convo with a FL baby, two girls quietly walked out onto the dock behind me. They wouldn't have quiiiiite caught a glimpse of my Pamper, but if I'd have stood up... lol!
I'm about to go all-out (code) and then go for a swim. Letcha know tonight how it goes, hehe...
