Up today, I have a Q&A with William, aka ALittleRobotKid. You may be familiar with his robot cartoon-style artwork from Tumblr. Today he shares more of his story...

Q&A With ALittleRobotKid
Q). When did you first realize you were ABDL?
A).
The term ABDL I didn't learn until the internet was accessible. I had
known from a very early age that I liked being the youngest of any
group. I thought of myself as everyone's youngest friend/brother. The
diaper thing started for me during potty training and I can remember it
clearly. They wanted me to conform and I wanted my diaper back.
Q). What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?
A).
Well I'm not proud of the several thefts I committed from family
members. I was actually caught most of the time by my sister.
Surprisingly enough not much was said about this until I got a bit
older. 10 ish.
Once I was able to start mowing and raking yards for money I started saving up and buying my own.
Q). Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.
A).
Oh definitely. I still do sometimes, but I tend to give things away to
those who want or need them. (Onesies, sleepers, etc.)
Q). How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?
A). Well first I would specify this isn't really a fetish for me anymore than wearing a shirt everyday is a fetish for you.
As
a married boy and also a father I will tell you none of this has
effected my ability to handle my responsibilities in any way. It has
though given me keen insight into my kid's perspective. So it has been a
bit of a plus.
Q).
Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas
experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your
life experiences bear this out?
A). I have these life experiences. In my opinion though this is who I am and was who I am before any of those things happened.
Q). For
the little dunces, please tell us about what it was like to discover
this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet. Please be at least 18 at the time
of writing, but be specific about what age you discovered it, what
sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious reasons.
A). When
I was 10 we finally got the internet on our home pc. Late one night
while everyone was asleep I decided to put the key words "boys wearing
diapers" into the search engine. It popped up links to Davee's Playpen,
Big_Baby's website, Little Avey's, and BitterGrey's Den. BitterGrey had a
lot of information posted and it was helpful but I still had questions
and so that's when I decided to talk to my mom about all of it.
I was 10 mind you.
All
in all it was great seeing older people too liked diapers like I did,
but I also realized this was a sexual thing for many of them whereas is
really wasn't for me. So I think that was really the driving force
behind wanting to ask my mom.
Q).
If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about
that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a
fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.
A).
Definitely. I'm a little. I don't really consider it "regressing" as
much as just being able to be myself. Listen, when I'm out at a friend's
and we're hanging out having drinks or smoking or whatever...I would
rather be coloring, or watching some cartoon, or even playing tag, hide
and go seek, or climbing trees.
I am a kid at heart. I like dorky fun things to do. Board games and making fun of stuff.
I'm not a baby tho. I don't like baby food. I think baby toys are boring, and I can think and speak.
