I began the Abysitter.com Q&A Series four years ago today, on February 12, 2012 with a Q&A from DinoBaby.
The series was intended to allow members of our community to introduce themselves, and to share more of their diaper stories with all of us. At the time Tumblrdiaperspace didn't exist, and there were few outlets for sharing more than just a few lines of text, really - just bios on the various diaper sites. And who (besides me) reads bios on the various diaper sites?
At the time my blog was getting 150-200+ unique views every day, and I was a bit overwhelmed trying to come up with new content.
At the same time, I'd gotten a shit ton of requests from diaperboys wanting to share their stories. The only problem, many said, was that they didn't know where to begin.
So I wrote a series of questions, inviting community members to answer them.
To date, 53 members of the ABDL community have taken the time to answer my Q&A questions.
Two have answered a series of update questions, as well.
The complexity of the answers vary, as does the length. But reading through them, you begin to get a picture of who our community really is.
I think that we all get something out of reading the stories of people like us. In fact, I know we do, because over the years so many of you have emailed me to let me know that you appreciate this Q&A, or that Q&A, or the Q&A series in general.
And I know that the opportunity to complete a Q&A has meant a lot to quite a few of you, because I've caught you promoting yours in your bio's, and in tweets and Facebook posts, sometimes months or even years after it was published.
I'd love the opportunity to share even more of your stories.
