Q&A With Oliver

[CWIS'S NOTE] Up today I have a Q&A from someone local to me but new to the blog: Oliver. You can check him out on Tumblr at .tumblr.com. http://nabannat.tumblr.com. Thanks, Oliver!

Q&A With Oliver

Name/Nick: Oliver
Age: 26
City/State/Country: Rochester, NY
AB/DL/BabyFur/Other? 90% DL, 10% AB

When did you first realize you were ABDL?

Like most people in the community, I had an inexplicable affinity towards diapers from an early age. My earliest memory of this was when I was 5 or 6 years old and my friend still wore pullups on occasion. I distinctly remember feeling jealous of her and, I think, I asked my parents at one point if I could wear them too.

What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

I ordered Pampers samples off the internet in the early 2000s and even got a small stash (3) of diapers from a hotel vending machine. Later, as a teenager, I grew more bold and would walk to my neighborhood drug store to pickup Depends, hoping I wouldn't run into any friends along the way.

Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

There were never any explicit conversations about why, but my parents found diapers and other paraphernalia multiple times when I was in high school. Most of the time, they'd awkwardly mention what they found and ask me if I was alright (suggesting they thought or hoped I had these things for a medical necessity), but typically left it at that. It was rarely spoken of, and, if it was, it was when I'd have an angst-ridden fight with my mom. She'd mention the diapers as a way to shut me up, which, to her credit, usually worked.

Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

In my early teens, I felt a lot of shame about my habits and interests. But, I figured out that those feelings came from not understanding and accepting myself and also from the typical shame/guilt feeling that boys get in their stomach once they start jerking off. Once I realized how common kinks like mine were in the real world and met others like myself, the shame faded away. I purged once or twice, but I'm too practical to throw good stuff away for no good reason.

For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?

My partner at the end of high school and half of college was also in the community. He convinced me that I should lie to my freshman roommate and tell him I was a bedwetter so I could wear on the regular. In hindsight, not a great idea. It made for a lot of uncomfortable moments during an already socially challenging first year of university. After my freshman year, I dropped the act and just wore recreationally as much as I could. Had a few fun times with kids on campus over the years.

How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?

Ever since college, I have always made a point to talk openly about my kinks whenever I made it past a few dates with someone new. I've known for a long time that my DL side is important and static in me and I needed a partner who was minimally accepting but preferably indulging of that side of me. My partner of 3.5 years is a DL convert and we have plenty of fun together. We got engaged a few months ago.

Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?

I have very loving and caring parents, but I definitely had some challenging experiences as a child. I don't know if they correlate, but I suspect that my AB side (which has since disappeared) grew because it was an escape for me during hard times.

For the little dunces, please tell us about what it was like to discover this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet. Please be at least 18 at the time of writing, but be specific about what age you discovered it, what sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious reasons.

DPF was my first encounter with this community on the internet. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time. I remember being enthralled with everything it offered, specifically the chat room. In retrospect, though, there were some real creeps in there...

Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

Very much into BDSM, puppy play, chastity, water sports, leather and rubber, all of which overlap nicely with this side of me. Also, I love to be a little stinker.

What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

Around 50%.

ABDL Boat Day: Aboimikey

Finally had my first visitor to the Luvs Boat this weekend! You may know him from Tumblr as @aboimikey. He's fairly local to me, less than an hour away, and we'd been talking about getting him out here for a while but our schedules never meshed. Saw him bopping around at CAPCON and knew I wanted to get him out to the boat once it was back in the water. Turns out he'd be the first visitor for 2018!

We spent a kind of rainy Saturday on the boat watching a movie and snapping some pics - looking forward to having him back for more.

Check the boat webpage for more pictures!

Q&A With StrengthOfTurningTides

[CWIS'S NOTE] Up today I have a Q&A from Chris, aka StrengthOfTurningTides on Tumblr. He's an old friend and a former contest entrant (and winner!).

Q&A with StrengthOfTurningTides

Best Sign Winner, Contest 2014

Name/Nick: StrengthOfTurningTides
Age: 22

City/State/Country: Shropshire, UK

AB/DL/BabyFur/Other: ABDL

When did you first realize you were ABDL?

I first realised I was ABDL when I was very young. I remember, as a child, I'd reminisce about how much I missed being a toddler (me being around 6-7 and being able to remember those times!). I'd get really upset and wish so hard to be put back into nappies. I still have that same frustration to this day, but it's obscured by grown up problems and responsibilities.

What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

During the summer holidays, when all my family was at work and I was home alone, I'd surf the internet on my phone and that's when I realised that I wasn't alone on this planet! From the age of around 8 to 15 I seemed to have no access to anything related to wearing nappies, only in my mind. So when I discovered others' interest in ABDL, I was elated and further intrigued as to what there was to discover about it.

I took the plunge one day and caught the bus to my nearest superstore which was miles away and incredibly nerve-racking, not just because I was about to buy my first set of nappies in around 13 years but because I'd never caught a bus to an unknown place on my own before!

I purchased a pack of Drynites (Goodnites for my fellow American ABDLs) and a pack of Pampers size 6 (because I could fit in those back then!) along with all the essentials like baby oil/powder/wipes. I took them home, and enjoyed it, and kept on enjoying it to this day!

Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

I've never confessed this to my family. Although my parents did find out once, after they'd seen the internet history of what I'd been looking at during the summer holidays. It's safe to say my Dad didn't react very well - and I'm not going to go into detail about what happened but I was made to feel very ashamed of what I'd done and was told never to do it again. Oh, and they also thought I was a paedophile. My parents didn't understand at all but I played this off by claiming I was seeking help for bedwetting and discovered this amazing community. My Dad was having none of it and my mum never said anything about it. As the years rolled by, it was forgotten in time and I assume my parents put it down to being a phase as I've never heard anything from them since on the subject.

Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

This bloody cycle does my tree in. Yes, I've fallen victim to this cycle and I hate it. I wish it was one or the other. I have no idea the psychology behind it but I'm sure it's a completely natural cycle. My method is just to enjoy it while its lasting.

How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?

Massively. I hate calling it a fetish. I'd love it to be more of a lifestyle but at the end of the day, nappies/diapers turn me on and that's that. However, I wouldn't like my partner to wear them, so I guess that makes me the baby! I told my Ex and he wasn't into it very much. My current partner isn't either but doesn't mind me wearing around him and he occasionally changes me which is nice. I do often wonder whether there'd be someone out there who could suit this side of me better than him. But this one will do just fine for me as he supports me in everything else I do (the grass is always greener, blah, blah, blah). As for social life, I wear around friends and they've never seemed to notice and if they did, I wouldn't mind much as I'd just tell them i struggle with my continence.

Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?

I'm a big believer in this one. I wouldn't say I've had a terrible childhood. But I can't seem to remember very many good times, even though I known they happened (like holidays and birthdays, etc). I think that's just the way I'm wired up, which is probably why I've been diagnosed with depression. Either way, the past is the past and I am who I am now, which is an ABDL, and t=I know that won't ever change which is a big comfort.

For the little dunces, please tell us about what it was like to discover this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet. Please be at least 18 at the time of writing, but be specific about what age you discovered it, what sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious reasons.

When I discovered the community online, I was around 15/16 and had recently got an internet-capable mobile phone. I knew better than using the family computer to do my 'research' on ABDL so it was mainly on my phone. I remember such pages as ABDLDADDY on wordpress and Deekers Diaper Page. The best on was DiaperHangout (formerly GayBabyDiaperHangout) which had so much content it would send me into a frenzy! Just the fact I wasn't alone in this world was bliss and the content I suddenly had access to was insane. To think back then, I'd fantasise about being one of those people in those photographs and right now I am makes me wonder why I don't appreciate it more.

What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

Around 55%. I wouldn't say I was completely dependant on ABDL content to satisfy my sexual urges. I think it would be a pretty unhealthy way to be if you needed it that much but that's just my opinion. It's not caused problems for me but in regards to partners; yes, sometimes with conflict of interests.

If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.

I remember on GayBabyDiaperHangout (back in that day), they had some hypnosis content on there. Now, although none of the wetting/messing hypnosis worked on a physical level, the regression most certainly did and I loved it! Nothing mattered, and all my worries left me. I really do think I could use this now!

Since then, I've only tried a couple of times, and my conclusion is I think I was more susceptible to it back then. As I said earlier, adult problems can overwhelm a person so much so, they can't regress and unfortunately I'm one of those people. I've always wanted to go to one of these ABDL nurseries for a week just to regress as I think if i knew it was a relatively long term thing with a trustee, in the setting and with a good, experienced caregiver - maybe I could once again enjoy the feeling. But until my adult life allows it and until my partner would too, it's not liable to happen soon!

I hope these answers were good. Well done to Cwis from ABYSitter for being such a prominent, well-standing, credit to the community! You deserve a lot of respect and praise for what you do for us!

Q&A With Littlebabyjedi

[CWIS'S NOTE] Up today I have a Q&A from Littlebabyjedi. You may know him from his recent contest-winning entries, as well as his Tumblr: littlebabyjedi.tumblr.com. He did a Q&A of sorts here a few years back, in 2015. Today he's coming in with an update...

Q&A With Littlebabyjedi

Name/Nick:  Littlebabjedi. “Joe”
Age:  33
City/State/Country: Maryland, USA
AB/DL/BabyFur/Other? AB, DL, and exploring baby fur

You first completed a Q&A a few years ago. What's - ahem - changed, with you, since then?

I don’t remember when I first completed a Q&A. I know I have submitted phots in the past. I use to be know as Diaper Vamp, and then Diaperjoker. Now I just go as Littlebabyjedi.

Tell us about your experiences in the community since your last Abysitter.com submission, if any. Have you made any friends, attended any parties or conferences, or had any other experiences - online or in real life - that you'd like to share?

I have made a lot of friends online. I have been fortunate to have been able to meet some of the in person. There are more that I would love to be able to actual meet in person.

One of my blog readers likes to say that we are all searching for something. What are YOU searching for in the ABDL community - if anything? Are you looking for a daddy/mommy/sitter? Brothers or sisters? Certain experiences? Tell us what YOU are looking for, or hoping to find - diaper-related, of course - in this life... and be as vague or specific as you'd like to be.

This is hard to answer. I would like to find a daddy, or a big bro. I would like to find someone who is accepting, encouraging and understanding of the abdl lifestyle. Someone who is loving and caring but also nourishing too.

What is the BEST thing about being a diaper boy, AB, DL, etc.?

The best thing for me is that i am able to be true to myself and have such a huge community to help support me.

What do you think the biggest problem/s or issue/s facing the ABDL community are?

People thinking that being abdl makes them different, an outcast, or weak. It doesn’t, if anything it makes you stronger. For it is no different then being a geek, a nerd, an athlete, etc.

If you could create one thing that would help the ABDL community in some way, what would it be?     Please tell us anything else you'd like to share... anything at all, sky's the limit!

How I came to be an ABDL? It goes all the way back to when I was 6-8 years old. I remember having dreams of being diapered and wanting to wear diapers. I couldn't understand why I was having these dreams. All I knew is that every night when I went to bed I would dream about diapers. About this time my youngest brother was still a baby. I would dream of taking his place or be jealous that he was in diapers.

I remember that anytime a commercial came on for diapers that it would grab my attention. The same with cartoons that had diapers in them.

I remember taking one of my brothers diapers one night and putting it on. It felt natural, safe, and I felt at peace. Over time my little stash under my bed grew. Then my supply stopped when my mom switched my brother from disposable diapers to cloth diapers. I didn't know what I was going to do.
I wasn't using any of the diapers that I collected. I didn't what my mom would do when she would notice extra diapers in the diaper pail. Finally one night I decide to use one of the diapers. I just wet it and fell asleep wearing. The next morning I hid it in a bag under my bed. Well my mom was cleaning the room while I was at school and found my stash and the wet diaper. At this time I was sharing a room with my other brother who was 3 years younger than me. My mom gathered my brother, my sister, and myself in the room and wanted to know whose stash it was and why she found it. None of us answered. So she diapered all three of us and left us in the room till one of us confessed. Several hours later she came in and said we could take them off. My stash was taken.

I didn't know what to do at this point.

I should probably take a break here to explain a little about my childhood. I am the oldest of 4. I don't really know my biological father, cause my mom divorced him when I was 2. There was a big court case and I was the center of it. I don't remember any of it cause I was so young. I don't remember a lot of my childhood. What I do remember is only negative stuff. The stuff that one should not remember from their childhood. My step dad has a temper. He was always yelling and angry. He would hit the walls but never any of us. I was always scared of him, to were I never wanted to help him with projects. I don't remember having a childhood. I always had my nose in a book growing up, I was into comics and star wars. Was always imagining that I was in the books I was reading. I never was close with any of my siblings. I was the outcast.

Ok back to my story.

Now that my mom has taken my stash, I was back to dreaming of them, keeping my eye out for diaper commercials. Sometime later I am not sure how long my mom went back to work. So now we had to go to a babysitters. My luck changed when the babysitter had a little one in diapers. I started to sneak diapers home in bag. Grew my diaper stash back up. Then my mom found my stash again. This time she loads all four of us kids up into the car and heads towards the store. She says that she is going to diaper all four us up in the store and make us wear diapers till one of us tells her why she found diapers again. Half way to the store I speak up that the diapers were mine. She asks why I had them. Response I gave her was that I was curious about how they were made. Don't know if she believed me or not, but she did turn the car around and head back home.

After that I was left with just dreaming about diapers. It was at this point that I started to find other ways to wear diapers. I would put a cloth diaper in my underwear to simulate a diaper, I would wear multiple pairs of underwear, would also take hand towels and put them in my underwear to simulate a diaper. I did this for many, many years.

This continued into middle, junior high, and high school. There were time that I could get my hands on a diaper or two. I would take two baby diapers and tape them end to end to make a diaper that I could wear and fit into.

All through the years I thought that I was the only one that liked diapers. That I was going to go to hell, and never find anyone to be with. My life has not been a pleasant one. There has been a lot of negative in. I was bullied all through my childhood, al the way up to my junior year of high school. My family was always moving growing up.

I have been on the internet since it first came out. Always hanging out at the town library, helping people set up email address, and teaching people how to use the internet.

It wasn't till about 1998 that we got internet at the house. This is when I started to search to see if I was the only one. I had been flipping through a Readers Digest and saw an ad for goodnites. The first thing I ever searched for on the internet that was ABDL related was goodnites. The first two sites that I ever found that were ABDL were Deeker Diapers and Riley Kilo's site. I don't remember what the name or Riley's site was called at that time. I learned from both that A) I wasn't the only one and B) that there was a term for it all Diaper Lover and Adult Baby. Two other sites I remember were DPF and ABY. Sadly none of the site are still up except Riley's site Staypadded.com.

It was such a relief to learn that I wasn't the only one interested in diapers. I would boot up the computer and have it dial in for the internet. Yes I go that far back. I would go on after everyone else went to bed. I would look at pictures and read stories for hours. I remember having email pen pals with other DL's in other states.

I was very luckily back than that my parents never found out what I was doing back than. They thought I was up doing school research or play either Warcraft II or Starcraft. I was lucky in that back than the tenement was still knew and we didn't know about clearing the history or as I learned later to also clear cookies and the temp internet files.

In 2001 the family moved from California where I grew up to Kentucky my junior year of high school. By this time I had found more sites and more online communities. Also had several online ABDL friends as well.

During my senior of high school I had a job and a car, so I bought my first bag of Depends Diapers from Rite Aid. At the time I thought they were amazing. Later, many years later I would learn that they were not and that there were better diapers.

Beginning or my senior year my mom found not only my stash of diapers but my stash of diaper stories that I had printed out, and my history on the computer. She took me to see a counselor. The counselor and I only ever talked about diapers that first day. After the we only talked about day to day stuff. I ended up seeing the counselor twice a week my entire senior year of high school.
I don't remember when it was that year but my mom pulled me into her room one night to talk. She said that she didn't care what I did as long as I was happy and safe. The only thing she asked was that I don't do any of it in the house cause of my siblings. She was afraid about how they would respond and didn't want me to get hurt. I respected her wish and did a purge. As a quick side note I have done several purges over the years. Well that initial purge only lasted about a month I think.

This time when I started to get diapers back and go back online to the sites, I got better at hiding both my stash and tracks. I kept the diapers in my car in a GAP bag. Started to save stuff to disks, ( this was before flash drives, was still using disks in school) and learned how to better cover my tracks on the computer.

I would do a purge every time I started to see a girl ( before I came out and entirely different story). The purge would last about a few weeks to a month. I was afraid of them finding out. I got smarter and instead of getting rid of my stash I would just hide it and not use it.

Fast forward some years.

It wasn't till my last girlfriend that several things came to face. First off she was the first person I told about my other side. She was accepting. She would allow me to wear around her, to the movies and such. She even bought me cloth diapers and plastic pants to try. It was at this point that I started to identify as a DL with AB tendencies. I liked pacifiers, bottles, and loved the idea of onesies and sleepers.

She was also the one that helped me realize and discover that I was gay ( like I said another story).

Skip ahead some more

I met my first ABDL in person. We met here on Fetlife. We were chatting and i had mentioned I was having a problem with my external hard drive and he said he could take a look at it and see if he could fix it. So a week later I go to his house and he takes a look at it. While he is looking at we start talking comics, star wars and such. Well to may a long story short we ended up becoming best friends. We would hang out once a week watching movies, or playing video games in diapers.
It was thanks to him that I got introduced to Abena M4, Super Dry Kids, and Teddy diapers. Which are all on my favorite diaper list. I also start to explore my little side more. Using pacifiers, and bottles more when I was over at his place. I found out that I was submissive. Problem was so was he, so I was made to be the big when we hung out, never little always the big bro who wore diapers.
I was listening to the BigLittlePodcast one day (Show Note) and heard about someone named Benny who made AB clothes on etsy, whose shop was called Never Grown Up. I looked them up on etsy and commissioned a batman onesie. After a short wait I was awarded with my first piece of AB clothes. I was in heaven. Sad to say that the shop is no longer open.

By now I have met a few other ABDL's in the area. We would hang out at my best friends house, play video games and be diapered.

Skip ahead to the past few months.

January 2015 I moved from Kentucky to Maryland. Shortly after moving here I started to catch myself sucking my thumb at night, feeling really little, watching a lot of cartoons, wanting to be diapered and looked after. A good friend pointed out that I was an AB and this was natural. I am wanting to explore this more. I like diapers, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, onesies and sleepers. I like to play with legos, have nerf gun wars, watching disney movies and cartoons. I don't like to do baby talk or baby food.

I am making a lot of new friends int DMV area. I am surprised at how many ABDL's or age players there are in the area. First day off that I get that falls on the DC little munch, I plan on attending.
So here is my history on how I came to be an AB. I know it is not filled with detail, but gives you a good idea and sense. Feel free to ask me question. I am an open minded person.

Q&A With OneFitStoner420

[CWIS'S NOTE] Up today I have a Q&A with someone absolutely new to the blog, Nick, aka OneFitStoner420. You may know him from his Tumblr page. He answers the Q&A questions below.

Want to submit your own Q&A on my blog? Email me: abysitter@gmail.com. 18+

Q&A With OneFitStoner420

Name/Nick: Nick
Age: 28 (little 3/4)
City/State/Country: Providence, Rhode Island
AB/DL/BabyFur/Other? 60/40 AB/DL

When did you first realize you were ABDL? 12

What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen? Took pull ups from little cousins, purchased first pack of depends at 14 •

Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted? My brother's knew, we had a discussion at 13/14 about wearing them if I would buy them.

Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain. It used to be mainly sexually charged for me, but as I've gotten older I've accepted that ABDL is a part of me and enjoy it rather than let it bother me.

For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how? When I was in college I wasn't able to wear as frequently as I wanted to but whenever my roommate wasn't around I would make sure I was diapered.

How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting? I dated a girl when I was 22 who knew and she was interested in BDSM so we managed to play around with the power dynamic of giving her control. As of right now, my wife knows and accepts that I wear diapers but has yet to partake.

Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out? My mother walked out on me when I was 8 years old, I only saw my dad on weekends and I was raised by my grandparents.

Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know. I explored babyfur for a while and disciplinarians and truthfully would love to be forced into diapers

What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you? Before I let my little side out I was completely DL and would get off two or three times a day to the thought of being diapered but now it's more theraputic than sexual.

If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel. I absolutely love regressing to a toddler like age and having someone take care of me. It is extremely comforting knowing that I can let go of being a big boy and letting my little side out helps reduce the stress of everyday life and lets me enjoy the simpler times in life. If I could be a toddler 24/7 I would not hesitate to take up the offer or opportunity.

Q&A With KitaSparkles

CWIS'S NOTE: Up today I have a Q&A from KitaSparkles. You may know her from her online sites, and may even be a fan of her Patreon. Kita represents the older generation of ABDLs, who we really don't hear from enough around here. Thanks, Kita! Enjoy!

When did you first realize you were ABDL?

When I was still a kid actually.  I did not know what it was of course. But I had this overwhelming desire to wear a diaper. I even had dreams I can still remember in which I ended up diapered. No real experiences though, past having my temperature taken in my bottom when I was about 8 or 9 because I couldn't breathe and thus could not keep my mouth closed. Also I once went to help my sister babysit, and she let me drink out of the baby's bottle. I also slept in a crib once at my aunt's house when I was 7, because there were no extra beds.

I found out what AB was when I was about 14 and my brother told me. It still took me a couple years before I believed it was real.  lol

What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

A relative in the house wore adult diapers, and I stole what I could.  Got caught once which was extremely embarrassing ... seems 3 disposable diapers of the late 1980s didn't hide too well under one's mattress. Later, we moved to the suburbs and I was able to go to the store and buy them ...  rode my bike there and back, and would stuff the package in a backpack. Once, I couldn't fit it, so I had to carry the package, and some neighbor kid kept yelling from his porch, "Why do you got diapers??" until his Mom came out and hollered at him.

That all came about in my teen years.  In my younger years, I just had the desire, but never did much about it.  I had a cloth diaper I found in a dresser drawer that I pinned on a few times, then a crib sheet that I was folding as a diaper and pinning on.  I actually had my first ejaculation into the crib sheet, and was really worried I might have broken something inside because of the strange liquid that came out!!

Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

Yes. I told my mother once after I lost a job because of it, and it did not go well so I never brought it up again. To this day I wish I hadn't.  My brother knows because he is also AB.

Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

For years I went through that.  I would get disgusted and throw everything away, going to great lengths to make sure it would not be discovered in the garbage. Then the urge would come back and I'd start collecting stuff again.  Because I am a born-again Christian, I dealt with whether or not God would be mad about me doing that. Finally, after much time thinking about it, I concluded that God is interested in much bigger and deeper things than what kind of underwear I decide to put on and where I decide to go to the bathroom. After that, I just stopped purging.  I guess I accepted it.

For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?

One year, I dressed as a big baby for a Halloween party.  Had a diaper (yes, a real one), bib, bonnet, and used a baby bottle all night. One particular picture featured me sitting on the floor, legs splayed, with three girls around me pinching my cheeks and babying me.  I acted like that picture embarrassed me, but secretly I was absolutely thrilled.

Another year I dressed as a little girl.  Tights, diapers under, jumper, cheerleader "saddle" shoes, longish hair in pigtails ... I even painted my nails pink. Several stories from that.

1. I was telling my friend how little the outfit had cost, because he wondered why I would spend so much on something I would "only wear once".  Of course, I would wear it a lot more than once, but I wouldn't let him know that! Anyway, I hadn't spent that much.  As I pointed out the different parts to it, he motioned to my chest and said, "And something up there..."  I looked down at my chest, looked at him, looked at my chest again, looked back at him, blushed and said, "Ummm .... no.  No, that's all me....."

2. One of the girls caught me. She asked me questions ... Where did you get the dress got the dress? Oh, Walmart; did you try it on in the store? No ... oh.... how'd you know what size to get then...!? I dropped the ball on that one, sputtered out something about size charts, and blushed.  She gave me that look - the one that says, "I know something you don't want everybody else to find out!"

3. When I was getting dressed for the party, I called to my roommate and asked him something I promised he would never have to hear me ask again. "Will you zip me up?" So he's standing there in a cowboy costume (he did look handsome!), stretching his arms out so he didn't have to stand too close, zipping up my dress and saying, "Oh man ... this is bad.  This is bad."  I never did find out what was bad?? I drove to the party, and when I got there I was afraid to get out of the car. I would gather my courage, open the car door, and then hear a car coming down the road and slam the door and stare straight ahead while they passed!!! I did this 4 times, and finally just bit the bullet and got out.  Halfway up the hill I heard a car horn and wolf-whistles! Frat boys ... oh well, at least I was convincing.

4. The next day, I had to ask one of the girls how to get my nails to stop being pink and sparkly! Then, I left the nail polish on the table.  For months.   And forgot about it.  One day, I saw it sitting there and told my roommate, "Oh hey, I better put this away before someone gets the wrong idea."    "Oh yeah - I meant to tell you about that.  While you were gone over Christmas Break I brought (his new girlfriend) over here.  She was sitting at the table and I was at the sink when suddenly she said, 'Um ... is this yours??'  I knew immediately what she meant, and I just said, 'No.  It's my roommate's.'"   Now, I thought he went on to explain it to her, but later when I met her for the first time, I found out he never explained!! She kept giving me odd looks, and when I finally brought it up, she says, "Oh yeah ..............it ........ it was a pretty color!"

5.  The next year (or maybe 2 years later), I dressed as a cheerleader.  Got my butt slapped (hard! Ouch!) and told I was fair game now. Caught another boy staring at my legs and had to tell him, "Hey!  My eyes are up here!" I know.  I'm a shameless flirt!

How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?

Hard to say.  I've never been married nor had sex. I was engaged once, and around the time I was going to tell her, she and her brother told me one afternoon about these weirdos they saw on Jerry Springer who wore diapers and acted like babies.  I couldn't make them understand that Springer just took the ones on the edges of a thing for sensationalism, and there were probably people they knew that were into that and they would never know unless the person told them.  I couldn't say any more without giving myself away.  We did break up but it had nothing to do with AB.

I do have a Mommy now, but we don't have sex, and I met her BECAUSE of ABDL connections, so it wasn't really an issue there!

Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?

Not a bit. I had a great childhood. I WAS bullied, but I think that was as much a RESULT of how I am than a CAUSE.

Some people have pointed out their observation that a larger-than-average number of multiple birth babies (twins, etc.) rep the ABDL lifestyle. If you are one of these, please explain what effect, if any, you feel this may have had on your ABDLishness.

I'm not a twin - but I do have a sibling who is AB.

For the older generation, please tell us more about what it was like being ABDL before social networking. I will be looking for the perspectives of members in their 40s, 50s, and even higher.

Well, when you did meet another AB, like you were lucky enough to have found a party or something, you all had similar stories about how you grew up thinking you were the only one. We all knew about DPF (Diaper Pail Fraternity). Carolyn's Kids and Amber E and Tales From The Crib were big sellers. We had to go to adult bookstores to find anything and even then it was pretty unlikely you actually would.  I did end up with a copy of something called "Big Baby Jayne" once which was ... interesting.   It went out with one of the purges.

Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

I am a Little Girl (LG). I don't identify as "sissy", because the sissy KNOWS he is a boy, but is being treated as a girl as some sort of punishment ...  which frankly is a bit insulting, but anyway....  A LG can be biologically female but most are biologically male. We identify as - not exactly babies, but young girls.  However, some might still be babied quite a bit. Others are completely anti-AB ("I'm 8 and I ain't a BABY!") Specifically, I am 6, but still diapered. I prefer the pronouns she and her.

I once had a Fetlife group ban me because I dared to suggest that there are plenty of parallels between being little and being transgender. I was also entrapped because I was merely replying to a post that had been edited by a moderator on the group! How can you possibly make a confrontational statement like that, and then ban anyone who disagrees, no matter how logical their argument is? Well, dammit, I am both a TG and a Little, and my view is valid, too.

What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

I am a virgin.  I aim to be one until such time as I get married, if I ever do.  Since I've made it this long, I really don't see that being too very hard anymore.  But at any rate, I guess that means I see them as separate things.

If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.

I don't see it as being regressed - I see it as being my true self.  I have dolls out in my home. My baby bottle sits in the cupboard and comes out at night when I go to bed.  There is diaper rash cream, baby oil, and baby wipes in several areas in my house. Diapers are stacked openly in the bathroom. A plastic sheet and crib bars are on my bed. as well as Frozen character sheet sets, and don't even get me started on my closet.  A dollhouse sits atop a dresser.

Not everyone knows I am a little girl. There are people I know would refuse to understand it, so I don't show it to them.  If they are coming over, the diapers are hidden and the bedroom door is closed. I do keep up with my adult responsibilities. Sometimes, away from home, I will got out dressed in my little girl dresses. Ok ok, maybe more than just "sometimes". The way that I hope people will treat me is just like you would a "real little girl". That's how Mommy does - she will tell me when I must eat, check my diapers and change me when she wishes, she chooses my clothes when we are together.

Tell Us About The Time You Were ...

When I first started, I was scared to death to go out.  But after a couple years, I started doing it more, and it got easier.  I started to notice that not that many people care!  And those that do, love it. It's surprising really.  Now, you do run across an occasional A-hole here and there, but take it from someone who has now been out public in many cities across 14 states - most people don't mind. But I'm not just out there flashing my diapers - I do wear dresses! And tights.  And Petticoats. I would say at any given time, there are at least 5 layers over my diapers!

My friends and I have become somewhat famous in one city around Easter. They look for us to come into the city and we are known as the Easter Bunnies. We are known all over the city, really. This past year, we were in a Walmart, and someone took a video and posted it on Facebook, where it quickly went viral. Last I checked there were over 6 Million views since April. It's like a 20 second clip and all we are doing is walking down an aisle. That gave a bit more insight, because people are more likely to be outspoken on Facebook than in person, so I did see more bad comments about it.  Also there are the different theories:  "They lost a bet", "they are actors", "they are dancers", etc.

I get a little worried about viral videos like that. With the work I do, I must remain mostly shrouded as far as my true identity. I was once outed by some lowlife who was pissed over my popularity. So they struck to try and bring me down and it was a harsh blow. I lost my home and friends, had to move, and took a hard hit to my finances from which I still haven't fully recovered. There is an area of the country I can no longer work - but I don't really have much use to want to go back there anyway.  Still, it can come back and bite me at any time and any place, as was exhibited to me as recently as a year ago.

When I was outed, I had to deal with some really tough consequences. There were meetings, accusations; overreactions abounded. It is of course not understood. I was called a pervert. People asked me to return or destroy any pictures I had of their children. No amount of explaining would convince such people that we have no interest in having sex with children ..... we want to BE the children. It was a hard thing to come back from.  I changed my name - I have not always been known as Kita Sparkles.   But I came back and then maneuvered myself into a situation where I directed one of our big get-togethers, which we called LG Camp. I had directed several before, but I had a POINT behind this one.  This one came after, and I know my enemy - the person who outed me - was watching.  I wanted to prove that they did not destroy me. I proved that, and then I walked away. Many of those people had no interest in protecting me when I was hurt, instead, some took the opportunity to kick me when I was down and a multitude stood by and watched while it happened. So, I stepped back from all that, and I think I am a better person for it. You know, a little evidence on that - after that last camp I directed, I sent by mail the books needed that had all the former camp writings and such. This package disappeared, and it was a common expression of belief among the rank and file that I had just thrown those things out because I was angry (I had a damn right to be...) Then a year later, they were found among the Christmas decorations.  And did anyone apologize to me?  No - one person happened to let slip to me that they had been found ...... and not a word was said by anyone who had accused me, saying, "We're sorry, we were wrong to think you lied about that."   So I guess the lesson is that there are those in both worlds who can hurt you, but you can survive it, and come out stronger and wiser from the experience.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I owned and ran one of the biggest and most well-known AB Story Forums on the Internet .... abdlstoryforum.info. During that period, I also wrote profusely and wrote over 80 AB stories that were all very well received. I also did some sketching and some captioned images.  I am also the ONLY link between the Internet and The Mystress Wysteria, who does diaper training and challenges. I am still doing new captions and stories, and The Mystress is still overseeing her charges at my Patreon.  Come see it!  Check us out  .... and in the process help someone who has given much to the community.
