Tumblr... Follow Me? And Send Me Your Links!

I have recently enabled my Tumblr blog

I am going to be doing an experiment with it before I decide whether I'll keep it.

If you've been a regular reader of this blog, you know I have a major problem with Tumblr. I've posted about it before. Several times, actually. Against it, each time. I even likened it to gang rape. And a guest entry writer, DiaperWhiz, wrote an entry on it, too, that was fairly neutral.

Our community, I know, has a love/hate relationship with Tumblr. I've seen the posts on every diaper site in existence. And I've been emailed by more of you about this single issue than any other.

Some people love Tumblr because it's a virtual treasure trove of ABDL pictures, including pictures ripped from the internet before some of our current crop of little ABDL scenesters were out of diapers the first time around. We have some trolls in our community who have been saving every ABDL picture they've come across since the floppy disc was how files were stored. They've kept these files, and now they've finally found a place to post them all.

Stands to reason many in our community would be upset. For those who have had their pictures stolen, of course, there is outrage. Pictures that you posted on a diaper site requiring a password/login to see have been jacked, lifted, and repositioned, posted on a non-ABDL site that many of your families and non-ABDL friends browse on the regular.

Even some of us who don't post pictures, or haven't had them stolen, are upset. Some of us are old enough to remember when there was still a bit of honor amongst ABDLs. With only a few sites, the trolls and thieves would be called out quick. Nobody wanted to be viewed as a thief, so you'd occasionally find someone using a diaper picture they'd stolen, but they'd be called out and either delete their profile (or at least the pic) or be deleted by a moderator. Tumblr... no mods.

Some of you have hit me up outraged because so much child porn has been posted along with ABDL pictures from some of the biggest offenders. You may not mind that diaper pictures are posted - even some of your own - but you resent the fact that some of those depicted are children in diapers. I do, too. And so, apparently, does Tumblr... they've gotten better about deleting sites that are posting obvious child porn. Thanks, Tumblr. And thanks to all of you who don't post, or enjoy, that stuff.

I came out against Tumblr early, and vocally, after hearing from a few collegebabies upset about their picture, including one who was actually pretty devastated. He'd sent his pictures to a Daddy when he was 15 and the Daddy had either posted them or shared them. His appearance in the four years since hadn't changed all that much, and the pics on Tumblr would be obvious to anyone that they were him. He was angry and wanted to prosecute someone. Anyone.

And thus, the problem with Tumblr.

But in the past few months I've started to notice something.

Some of you have been blogging on Tumblr, but for real.

You're not posting pictures you ganked from someone else's diaper page - you're posting your own.

Some of you are even writing blog entries.

Tumblr is an easy platform for you to use. And, as a result, there are some good ABDL blogs going up.

I noticed this after I posted some blog entries here from Champ. Champ has a Tumblr blog - [http://lilboychamp.tumblr.com/] - and posts some of the best entries I've ever seen.

When I began blogging in 2008 there were very few ABDL blogs on the internet. Most were essentially dead links. People didn't blog because, to be honest, getting readers was hard. People just gave up.

Tumblr makes getting followers easy and fun.

It makes people want to blog.

And while I've seen evidence that it is allowing a mixture of ABDLs and non-ABDLs, I'm torn about the effects of that. Part of me fears this. As part of the 'older guard' of ABDLs, I am old enough to remember when our community was very closed and didn't want to be found out.

But as someone who has diapered dozens of non-ABDL's (long story), I'm certainly not 100% averse to it myself.

And as someone who has recently begun checking out blogs on the Tumblr platform, I have to admit: some of the people I'm seeing pictures of I've never seen before. And so many of them make our fetish/community look damn fucking good.

Seeing so many pictures of normal people wearing diapers? It might just be a good look for us.

Still not sure.

But I'm going to try it out.

I'm not going to repost stolen ABDL pics, which is how Tumblr became popular in the first place.

And don't worry: unless you specifically give me permission, any photos you've contributed to my blog will not be re-appearing on Tumblr.

But I will be posting there, including some of my older stories, and some new stuff.

Everything will still appear here, so don't stop coming to Abysitter.com.

But check out my Tumblr link, too.

This year I'll be putting out some entries that will be a part of my guide, including important entries on age (keeping it 18+ and age discrimination) as well as an advice column. I'll also be doing another contest.

If Tumblr has become a site that will bring me a wider audience of real ABDLs - and it seems to have become that, as opposed to the fakesters and photo stealers of 2012 - than I may just become open to it.

Send your thoughts to my inbox: abysitter@gmail.com

Follow me on Tumblr.

And here, too haha. (See the column to the right).

And if you have a real Tumblr blog full of fresh, new content all your own - and you don't reblog every stolen picture you see - send me your links for an upcoming blog post.

Thrift Shop!

If you are a US hip hop fan - or just listen to Top 40 music on the radio - you've probably heard of Macklemore. His first song to break into radio, Thrift Shop, is currently in the top ten across the US.

Macklemore was in the 2012 XXL Freshman Class, the first time he received major recognition for his music, and this year has been amazing for him. His album with Ryan Lewis, The Heist, has been one of the top-selling albums on iTunes in recent months, reaching #1 immediately following its release (topping some major label releases) and recently returning to #2.

This is one of only three albums I bought on iTunes last year. If you know me, you know I'm a huge fan of indie rap. I get most of my music from rap artists I know or follow on the various social networking websites. I get a lot from DatPiff, as well. And, when I like an artist enough, and want to support them, I buy their music on iTunes. Last year I bought some Chris Webby, some MGK, and some Macklemore.

I bought it because I heard the song Same Love. If you haven't heard it yet, give it a listen. It's one of very few rap songs - if not the only rap song - you'll hear advocating for the gay/lesbian community. I was actually pretty shocked when I heard it... it's not something you hear often - a rap artist supporting gays? Damn. I almost blogged it, but had just blogged something someone had contributed to me and didn't want to put anything over the top of that too quickly. As many times as I played that song on repeat, I forgot to post it here.

Lyrics:
When I was in the 3rd grade
I thought that I was gay
Cause I could draw, my uncle was,
And I kept my room straight.
I told my mom, tears rushing down my face.
She's like, "Ben, you've loved girls since before pre-K."
Trippin'. Yeah, I guess she had a point, didn't she?
A bunch of sterotypes all in my head.
I remember doing the math, like
"Yeah, I'm good at Little League..."
A pre-conceived idea of what it all meant.

You can read the rest of the lyrics here. Ironically, my favorite song my Macklemore is My Oh My - a song about as hetero as they come, about listening to the Seattle Mariners win the 1995 series playoff game.

Thift Shop is about thrifting - and, in the world of 'bling bling' rap music, you have to admit, this is about as unlikely a topic to receive support from a hip hop artist as is homosexuality. The video is the one included if you purchase the deluxe edition of the album on iTunes. You can see it below. Watch for a fucking adorable shot of Macklemore rapping in a footed sleeper. When I saw it, a nearly squirted... it is cute as FUCK. My boy Mikey has some hip hop skills, and did some freestyle in diapers that was straight dope when we hung out. And my friend Anthony, who also raps, once freestyled about diapers more more than five minutes as we drove through a blizzard in upstate New York. It was awesome. If you've been reading this blog long enough you know I have a thing for 'thugz in Hugs' - so watching Macklemore rap in his jammies? Hot.

Doesn't even ruin it that it's not a diaper.

Or that he calls it a onesie in the song.

Speaking of the 2012 XXL Freshman Class: another rap artist you might be interested in is Hopsin. I've been a Hopsin fan for years, since before he blew up across social networking sites and made it to Freshman. During the summer of 2011, my friend Mikey (who I blogged about here) was hanging in Huggies when he asked if I knew that Hopsin wore diapers. I'd known that Hopsin made threats to wear diapers on Facebook on the regular - something I've blogged about here before. But I hadn't known that Hopsin actually wore a diaper in a video.

Macklemore in footed jammies? Hopsin in a diaper? And don't even get me started on Chris Webby. I'll blog about him soon. I don't know if any of these guys are ABDL - and the chances are they aren't - but I have to admit, I like seeing indie hip hop artists embracing their 'little' sides...

...hope the trend continues.

Happy New Year!

First of all, let me start by saying... HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I've been absent for over a week. Not intentionally, just been hella busy with family and other things here. I should have just voice texted a message to my blog for y'all for Christmas or something. For all of you who email and text me, thanks for the awesome Christmas and New Year's wishes... I think I got back to everyone.

My New Year's resolution for this year is to meet up with a few more people than I did last year.

Blog-wise, I hope to post more, especially more posts of my own original stories, something I've taken a break from. I have a few to finish (Tai, the story you've reminded me about is coming... Baby Mikey story to be completed soon... and dude who used to text me from GA asking for the Part II of my hotel encounter, that is also coming up).

And if you know me, you already know what my personal resolutions are.

If you are still making New Year's resolutions, I have a suggestion:

SEND MORE ADORABLE PICTURES
AND AWESOME STORIES
TO CWIS!

If you've thought about sharing stuff with this blog's readers but haven't yet, hopefully this will be lucky 2013 for us. And if you're shared once, twice, or a dozen times, hopefully you'll share even more.

A few of you will get emails from me in the next few days. For everyone else, please email me: abysitter@gmail.com.

Update: Christian Choate

Up-to-date, I have an update on Christian Choate. If you've been following the story for the past 18 months, you know that Christian is the boy who was found murdered in 2011. He had spent the last years of his life locked in a trailer, forced to live in a dog cage. Most of that time he had spent naked - except for a period of time after he began urinating and defecating on himself, when he was forced to wear diapers originally purchased the family's youngest child. You may remember my link to the story about his sister and her friends taking pictures of him - pictures which may well be circulating on the Internet today.

The good news is, his father, Riley, pled guilty to neglect charges and faces 80 years at sentencing. His mother, Christina, faces up to 25. Well nothing will ever bring this kid back, we can be glad that no other child will suffer the same fate at the hands of these two animals.

I personally will take great satisfaction of knowing that Riley Choate is going to spend the rest of his life living in a cage.

I know some of us have fantasies of being caged in diapers. And for consenting adults, that is totally cool. Don't feel guilty in the least when you engage in this type of role play.

But please: honor this kid's memory by reporting photos you see of young people being exploited. And don't ever share them. There is too much of that on the Internet, and it needs to end.

Baby Pictures: LT

[CWIS'S NOTE] Up today, I have outdoor diaper pictures from someone new: "LT", a 22yo AB from Virginia. In his words:

About Me: I consider myself more of an adult toddler around two years old. I like being outside, playing in the trees, dirt and water. I like sword fights and pretending to be a superhero. But everything I do, is with my paci and my wolfie Blake.

I asked for outdoor pictures, and LT was willing to oblidge... and I think you'll agree these are dope as fuck. He's promised to contribute more in the future, so look forward to lots of LT in this space coming up.

Diaper Pictures: Diapscort

Up today I have some pictures from Diapscort.

Nathan is 20 from Chester, UK. He wrote a blog entry on body issues recently, contributed a previous set of photos, and has completed a Q&A as well. Today we have a few more adorable pictures in the series: Nathan is double-diapered with a cloth-backed Abena for the top diaper.

Thanks, as always, for contributing bro! And anyone else interested in donating some diaper adorableness: email me...

On Television: The 15-Stone Babies

The 15-Stone Babies

Up today, information about a show on the UK's Channel 4: The 15-Stone Babies. It's described as a "documentary taking a close look at the fantasy world of Britain's adult 'babies' " - and, from the accounts I've heard, seems to portray us in as respectful a light as possible.

The official Channel4.com link is here:

http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-15-stone-babies

You might be able to watch the episode here, although it is not available in my area (and, I'm assuming, the USA):

Channel 4 has an official YouTube teaser video online. They don't allow embedding, but you can see it here:

YouTube user Thosegreasymeatballs, who appears to not be ABDL, has recorded all or part of the episode and uploaded it to YouTube. You can see the videos below:

Anyone in the UK catch this show? If so, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. Email me or post in the comments.

Internet Meme... Really?

I'm seeing this floating around the Internet for a a while now. It usually has different captions, but I saw it recently with this one and this one seems to have caught on. Every time I see if it annoys me, and I want to comment and tell my friends: no self-respecting diaperboy would ever go out into public dressed like that... smh.

Another visit with my friend, and if you knew pictures. I found this diaper in my stash and we tried it out. It was unlike any others that I have seen recently... hmm. Does anyone recognize it? Curious as to what kind it is. If you are reading this and you are the one who left it here, hit me up? If you are familiar with this brand of diaper let me know what it is.

Hall of Shame: Update

CORONA DEL MAR TODAY » Accused Diaper Dumper Faces Dec. 17 Arraignment

Here is an update on the California man caught throwing dirty diapers all over the streets. I know that, when I was in high school and had to dispose of diapers secretly, the environment was far from my top priority... I tossed used diapers into streams and ravines in an effort to hide them. I was only thinking about not being humiliated by their discovery in the trash, not their discovery by innocent passersby. So part of this story rings strange for me: the part where this man, driving a luxury automobile, can't just throw these diapers in the trash... wtf?

"The man was identified as a suspect in September but not arrested after Laguna Beach police found a freshly tossed bag of diapers that contained an envelope with an address that led them to a Newport Coast home. Detectives staked out the home, then followed a man as he left in a car, headed to Laguna Beach and then made a U-turn. When officers stopped him in the Crystal Cove shopping center, the man had dirty diapers on the seat beside him."

Click the link below to read the whole story:

Still, I do hope it was not a diaper fetishist, and instead just some strange old man with a penchant for saving money on luxuries like trash removal.

Odd, though, that although he has been charged, the authorities have refused to reveal his name and the media is not asking for it... hmmmm...

Dry 24/7 Shortage - HELP!

XPMedical, My regular supplier of my favorite diaper, the Dry 24/7 medium, is OUT OF STOCK until 12/22. Wtf!!

Besides the actual manufacturer, which seems to charge a lot more, does anyone else know any websites where I can purchase this product online? Any medical supply product companies or things like that?

If you know any, please email me abysitter@gmail.com or comment.

Thanks!
