counting down the days
until New York is summery and warm again.

Looking for local people

YouTube Tuesday!

I recently reblogged a video on Tumblr that contained a Russian kid wearing a diaper for a bungee jump, much to the excitement and enthusiasm of his friends. That got me to thinking about the old YouTube Tuesday videos I used to post, circa 2009-2010 when ABDL content on the internet was hard to come by. I started clicking around YouTube, and hours later I found myself watching video after video featuring Russians - or at least those who appear to be from eastern Europe - rocking Pampz. Fucking dope.

There's something fascinating about the fact that our fetish is the same across the world. We are so different from people in other countries, but an urgent need to be diapered and/or babied afflicts us all. The word

means something powerful to them, just like the word diaper does to us.

Whether you're rocking подгузники, wearing डायपर, waddling around in pannolini, or padded in حفاضات - or whatever you choose to call them - the word means something to us that is hard to describe.

Below I've embedded a bunch of the videos I found today. Check them out. And if you have some favorite channels from diaper boys from around the globe, please email them to me. 18+

Is skydiving in diapers a thing over there?
Is it a thing everywhere?

This kid fucking rocks...
what a performance.

Not sure if he's AB/DL or just clowning,
but sure wish I spoke Russian.

I'll be honest... I'm not even sure
what countries all of these people are from.

Most probably aren't diaper fetishists.
Still, you have to imagine that ABDLs in these countries
are loving every second of these.

Here's some sort of creepy, crazy movie.
Weird shit. Dope music.

Here's one that wasn't imbeddible.
Not sure what these guys are up to, but it seems like
they may be protesting something
in diapers.

Anyone speak Russian?
What are they saying???

Here's another one.
What is going on here?
Are we trying to set a world record for worst-fitting diaper ever?
LOL...

And finally, one for the straight boys...

Wanted: Diaper Pictures

Wanted: Diaper Pics

I am in the process of creating a document entitled What Makes Us Tick: The Origins of AB/DL

It will be presented at an upcoming conference and made available for download on my blog.

I am looking for ABDL photography to be used in the booklet and the presentation, and am asking my blog readers to consider contributing.

I am hoping to include (safe) outdoor shots or group photos - photography that inspires, with pictures that represent AB/DL as normal, as accepted...

If you have a favorite picture of you, in diapers, on the beach, or at the campground, or - well, you get the idea - hit me up with it.

Note: I'm not asking you to go subjecting the unsuspecting public to a full view of your ABDL diaper - but some of y'all take some amazing shots on boats, beaches, and in the deep woods. I'd love to feature your favorites on my blog!

If you have a group photo from an event play space, I may be interested in those, too!

I am particularly interested in hi-resolution photos, if possible.

And, it goes without saying, that the photo must be of you and 18+. No exceptions.

If you have something that you would be interested in contributing, please email me.

You'll hear much more about this project in the coming weeks.

Until then, thank you for considering!

Coming Soon... A Story...

I plan to have a story to go along with all of the recent Z pictures.

Much like the Mikey & Me series, and the ABenjaminButton stories, it may take a while to be put into words. I've found that the more important something is to me, the longer it takes me to write about it.

I promise it will be worth the wait.

In the meantime...

Tykables! Photoshoot coming soon...

How adorable are these?

The new Tykables Overnights - complete with packaging that will make you feel like a little dunce again. Loving the 'features diagram' and the 'bedtime checklist' - so cute. And they seem thick and thirsty! I've heard nothing but good reviews so far, and hope to get someone into these for a photoshoot ASAP. Volunteers

Adorable, no? Loving the little jungle cats, too.

and send them to me via email

You must be 18+

Include any photos you'd like to include,
and any contact information
you'd like me to share.

Share your story with my readers!

Copy/paste the text below...

Q&A

ARE INCLUDING A PIC/PICS? BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR AGE, LOCATION, AND A STATEMENT THAT I HAVE PERMISSION TO USE IT/THEM. Photos definitely are not necessary, but they do make a nice addition to the entry.

DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE CONTACT INFORMATION IF YOU WANT IT SHARED! Feel free to use this as a personal ad: if you're looking for a daddy, mommy, baby bro, etc. shout it out here!

Q&A

Name/Nick:
Age:
City/State/Country:
AB/DL/BabyFur/Other?

And now for the questions. Just delete or ignore any which do not apply to you.

The questions are:

• When did you first realize you were ABDL?

• What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

• Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

• Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

• For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?

• How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?

• Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?

• Some people have pointed out their observation that a larger-than-average number of multiple birth babies (twins, etc.) rep the ABDL lifestyle. If you are one of these, please explain what effect, if any, you feel this may have had on your ABDLishness.

• For the older generation, please tell us more about what it was like being ABDL before social networking. I will be looking for the perspectives of members in their 40s, 50s, and even higher.

• For the little dunces, please tell us about what it was like to discover this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet. Please be at least 18 at the time of writing, but be specific about what age you discovered it, what sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious reasons.

• Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

• What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

• If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.

Don't let yourself be limited by my questions. If you have anything else at all that you would like to say please feel free to say it here:

NOTE: If you are including photos for this entry please email them to me at abysitter@gmail.com. Please simply state that they are either of you or were taken by you with the subject's permission to share, and that you were 18+ at the time the photo was taken.

Thanks for contributing answers, an essay, photos, or anything else to my blog!

Throwback... Little Bwo

I had the opportunity to FaceTime with my little bro, ABenjaminButton, yesterday. He's living the dream, bouncing around Europe, spending time on a private island, crewing sail boats, and - well, you name it, he's doing it.

Seeing Ben's smile on my iPhone screen took me back to seeing it in person.

You may remember that he wrote me a 'thank you' letter upon graduating from high school.

He would be going to school in NY shortly after he wrote that letter, and I was living in Orlando. Still, we met in Orlando when he returned for holiday break in 2013 [entry 1] [entry 2] [entry 3], and and he visited the cottage when I was in NY for my summer vacations in 2014 and 2015.

At some point Ben became my 'little bro' on Fetlife. If you know me you know I don't throw around titles like 'little bro', 'big bro, or 'daddy'. I have two little bro's and one little, and while I'm up for new relationships, I do not like those who accumulate a collection of littles or create cliques. Ben was the first person who I considered a 'little bro', and seeing him on FaceTime today reminded me why.

I was looking through old pics of our summer vacations and I found this screenshot I'd taken at some point and long forgotten about.

Let me just mention that I love, love, love seeing things like that.

I'm not even sure how old this post was, but it goes back a while.

Seeing it again made me think: I've enjoyed creating amazing ABDL experiences for people for a long time. I grew up in a time before the internet was widely available, and even as I began to explore the ABDL community online, I found nothing but roadblocks: flakes, loons, and purgers at every turn. I remember this 'community' when I was a little trying to find the perfect experience with a big, and I remember it when I became a big and decided to try to do better, to create the experiences I'd never been fortunate enough to have.

I love that I've been able to create some amazing regression moments for people in our community, and I especially love hearing about them.

And I love that reading my blog entries has had an impact on people and their own regression growing up.

If a session with me, or my blog, has had an affect on you over the 9 years + I have been blogging, please don't be shy about letting me know - those types of things keep me going.

Here is Ben's letter, from all those years ago...

Love you, Ben,
Big Bwo

July 2, 2012

Dear Cwis,

My name is Ben and I've been following your blog for the past two years now. I just graduated high school, and amidst all of my thank you cards to friends and family, I wanted to reach out to you and thank you for what you've meant to me.

Like a lot of people out there, my discoveries into my own diaper fetish as well as my own sexuality have been a long drawn out process that have taken until now for me to fully understand, and more importantly be comfortable with. And I guess what I'm here to thank you for is just that: comfort. It wasn't until the past few years that I realized that I could be looking on the internet for information. And after going through hoards of sites that didn't exactly make me feel anymore normal, I found your blog. And even though the column was lined with guys getting changed , it was in your words that I found for the first time someone I could connect to. Reading your stories about your childhood and even your last one about Reese reminded me of events in my own childhood. And even though our ages are a bit farther apart, reading your words sounded like the same thoughts that went through my mind at different stages.

It's been a rough road discovering who I am and who I'm comfortable with being. I've still never told anyone about my diapers, or my sexuality. I'm actually pretty "normal" in my public life. And while I've tried searching on websites for people in my area I've never been able to find anyone in real life that I can openly connect with and talk face to face. I've also been wary of sharing information about myself to those in the online community,  because I was worried of having my information exploited to thus force me out. But having read your material for the past few years I'm not only now more comfortable about my own feelings but I trust you as an individual. I guess that's why I've stuck to reading what you have to say because you've been a source of normality into what most would perceive as something very abnormal. Cwis, you've been a crucial element to my childhood and are the reason I am the man I am today.

Thank you, for everything,
ABenjaminButton

PS. It's ironic to me that not only have you been an hour away from where I lived my whole life (Orlando) but in the fall I'll be going to NYC for school.

SNL: Baby Steps!

OMFG! I have been waiting for this skit all my life. It's got Miley - probably no surprise - but it's also got my favorite, Soft Spot (Pete Davidson). You'll also see Heavy Diaper (Chris Redd), and One-Z (Kenan Thompson). SO CUTE!

Love the big crib, too. Who's the actual ABDL over at SNL? Wish I knew!

Damn... enjoy!

Feeding Time With Z...

Up today, I have some pictures of a recent feeding session on the boat with little Z.

This was an awesome day, because it marked a couple of firsts... the first time we got to try a cloth diaper, and the first time I actually fed him. We'd talked about both for a while, and got it in, finally, on one of our last overnights on the boat. There, with just the two of us, we enjoyed a bowl filled with Mac n Cheese - Z's favorite - and a baby bottle.

Love that this kid is willing to let me take pictures of just about everything we do. Enjoy.

Abandonment Issues...

I have a fear of abandonment.

I only recently came to recognize it.

I've heard the term "abandonment issues" many times in my life, always uttered by other people. I pictured a clingy ex-girlfriend unwilling to accept that her boyfriend has moved on. (That's usually the actual situation when I hear the term used, actually).

I didn't really realize abandonment issues was actually a thing until recently.

I've actually been 'abandoned' by friends several times during my life.

They just stop texting or calling one day. My replies get read, of course, but that's as far as it goes. I'm left to wonder if I did or said something to offend them - where things went wrong.

I've ended friendships mutually several times, and while it is hard, it's easier when you know why the friendship was terminated. Not knowing sucks, and when you have abandonment fears, it sucks even more.

Ironically, in almost every case, the friendships that were mysteriously ended returned - when they were ready. They just popped back into my life one day like they'd never left. My search for answers was fruitless - it was almost as if they didn't know why they'd written me out of their lives and then written me back in. I had to laugh when one of them posted a status on her Facebook page about her irritation with someone who "just stopped talking for no reason." I replied with a comment: "Been there." She liked my comment. I'm not sure if she even got the reference.

I try to keep it hidden, utilizing 'defense mechanisms' to prevent abandonment that, when I look back and analyze them, seem fucking ridiculous.

I've abysat dozens of people, most within our community, but I've religiously staved off actual relationships since my early days here. If you ever expressed an interest in taking things further than an abysitting session and I pushed you away - you know who you are - it had nothing to do with you - it was my way of coping with this fear: don't let people get too close, and they can't leave you hanging. I didn't realize why I was like this until recently, but I've begun to understand it now.

The vast majority of vanilla people important in my life - 99.999999% probably - are close friends, lifetime friends, friendships I have little doubt will last forever.

And within our community, most of the people who I get to know eventually become friends - close friends, sometimes. I have two 'little bro's' and a 'little', even. Some of my best friends are people I've met in the context of an abysitting session, or at a con.

That's not to say that there haven't been friendships here that faded. A friend I texted with on a daily basis for a while found some new friends and stopped texting me to appease them. Another who was my hours-long phone call buddy for several years, but went on to get a boyfriend and was, from that point on, "really busy" - too busy to make that call. There have been a few others - you, also, know who you are.

Truthfully, I'm not special. Many of us have been abandoned - it's the nature of our community.

I know I'm far from alone in this. The binge/purge cycles we all love to practice makes the abandonment rate pretty fucking high here, and if some of us didn't have a fear of abandonment before finding out about our community, we probably do now.

I've talked to littles abandoned when daddy moved on to a younger, fresher model. What they are feeling is sadness, loneliness, hopelessness even. What they are feeling is abandonment.

I spoke to a friend who was ostracized by his 'crew' at a diaper event, after he said something that offended one person and they, in typically gay ABDL catty form, began a secret, behind-the-scenes campaign to exclude him from the rest of the week.

I've talked to people who were excluded by members of their local community - and I've been one of those people, myself. Hearing people you've messaged for years tell you that they want to meet but you have to promise not to let the local diaper daddies find out - ugh.

If you've been in our community for a while you've read these stories in the forums. It happens so often I sometimes roll my eyes and say "Wow, another one?"

But in each of these cases the people are real. And the sorrow they are feeling at that moment, it's real too.

I feel like the sting you feel when someone in the community 'abandons' you stings so much worse than when it's a non-ABDL friendship.

The connections we make are intense, sometimes. The bonds we build are strong. We are messaging, or texting, or talking, or snuggling with someone else who understands the way we are. That person may have brought out our little side for the first time. Or they may have made us feel some other type of way. And when they disappear, the pit you feel in your stomach when a vanilla friend is freezing you out feels more like a punch in the gut.

I've had young people in our community reach out to me in the middle of the night because they're contemplating suicide after being dumped by their daddy. That's actually happened a few times. I've spoken on the phone to people who describe their situation, and I've thought to myself - if I was this kid's 'big bro', I'd never do him like that.

Except I probably wouldn't be, because I push relationships like that away.

Fear of abandonment.

What's most ironic, I think, is that fear of abandonment is thought to be caused by the same thing that some of us believe causes us to first begin to develop an attachment to diapers.

From GoodTherapy.org:

Abandonment fears typically stem from childhood loss, such as the loss of a parent through death or divorce, but they can also result from inadequate physical or emotional care. These early-childhood experiences can lead to a fear of being abandoned by the significant people in one's adult life.

I was adopted. My first six months or so were spent in foster care, in a very busy foster home.

As I've researched the reasons for the way we are why we are I've come to the conclusion that my diaper fetish was caused, at least in part, by my development of an attachment to diapers as an infant - they were soft, sometimes dry, and comforting - and that may have been the only true comfort I felt.

Diapers were imprinted into my brain. I truly never stopped wearing them.

I had amazing parents (following the adoption), and never lacked adequate physical or emotional care after age 1, but even as a little kid I had a constant, unspoken fear that I would be cast off if I fucked up. I couldn't explain it - I just felt it. It never really went away.

The more I've read on the topic of abandonment issues, the more I wonder if that first year had more of an effect on me than I could ever realize.

How many friendships have I allowed to die because I am afraid the other person is going to end it first?

How many serious relationships might have developed were I not so quick to shut the possibility of one down?

How many times would I not have been depressed by someone purging, or their need to focus on the 'adult' part of their life, or just them simply being busy, misconstruing those unreturned texts or calls for the early stages of abandonment?

I'll probably never know.

But I'm beginning to understand why I am the way that I am - and what may have caused it.

And I'm realizing that it needs to change...

This blog entry wasn't sexy. It really didn't involve diapers, and it certainly didn't show any adorable diaper photos, or anything of that nature.

But I have been meaning to write it for a while.

In the near future I'll be writing several blog entries on depression and other mental illnesses that affect some in our community - how a diaper fetish may contribute, and how it may be an effective coping mechanism, too.

I'll be sharing some intensely personal details of my time growing up, and I'll be inviting others to share, as well.

Today, I wanted to get this one thing out of the way.

If I've ever pushed you away, limiting us from anything more serious than a diaper change or a good phone conversation, I probably didn't give you a reason. Fear of abandonment is the reason.

If I've ever taken your failure to return a text or call more seriously than you think it warrants, and you didn't understand why, fear of abandonment is why.

If anyone else suffers from this, I'd be interested to hear from you, in the comments below or in my inbox.

And if you're one of the people I referenced in my inbox, hit me up.

My next blog entry will return to the normal diaper stuff you expect to see here.

But, for today, a little glimpse into me.

More to come...

Diapered Protests?

Turning Point USA, described as a 'right wing student group', recently staged a protest at Kent State University. Their protest was against college students in general, and the 'safe spaces' that conservatives love to rail against. The theme seems to be thus: if you need a safe space, you must be a child. Thus, of course, they donned... diapers.

I can't think of a better reason to wear diapers outdoors than a good old fashioned protest. What a great excuse! I doubt these folks are diaper fetishists - most of us yearn for safe spaces, lol. Still, if y'all will help me think of something to protest, I've got the diaper - a real one, thanks, none of these medical Pull-Ups.

Let's get to protesting!

Movie Alert: Haze

Some diaper action in an upcoming movie: Haze. Not sure what the take is going to be - looks like it will condemn hazing, in light of the recent deaths related to hazing. Still, check out the screen grabs and the trailer, below...

Long Weekend With Z

As ABDLs, most of us yearn for two types of connections: connections with our own ‘little’ sides, and connections with each other.

Some of us will make ABDL connections fairly easily, racking up diaper friends as we go along. We’ll find munch friends. We’ll make con friends. A select few diaper daddies will collect boys like a collection of Pez dispensers. (You know who you are.) We’ll connect all over.

Others of us, though, will struggle to meet even one other person. Our own shyness, maybe mixed with shame, may prevent us from reaching out. Or maybe we’ll reach out and make contact with others battling those issues, and complain bitterly about the lack of responses from our community, or the lack of ABDLs in our area, or… if you know what I’m talking about, it sucks.

To say I’ve been lucky is an understatement.

I’ve diapered so many people that I lost count long ago.

So many ABDL meet ups, some resulting in photoshoots.

It means diaper changes at CAPCON.

So many pampz-for-pay experiences, and stints diapering experimental vanilla friends… the list goes on and on.

So. Many. Connections. Made. Over. The. Years.

It experiences also include a number of abysitting sessions within our community.

I've seen it all.

When it comes to abysitting, age regression is almost always the goal. But there are levels to this shit.

Playing pretend is where it starts.

Roleplaying: an attempt to act little, in the hopes of feeling little, which may or may not succeed and, for some of us, ends in uncomfortable failure.

If failure is the end result, it might be blamed on a lack of chemistry between the little and his big.

A lack of trust.

A lack of comfortability within the little himself.

A combination of all of these things.

ABDL site forums are filled with stories of awkward playdates or sitting sessions that, for whatever reason, didn’t go the way one or both parties had hoped.

Being able to fully regress is an amazing thing.

Not just acting little, but feeling little.

Not just feeling little, but becoming little.

It’s also very rare - rarer than we’d like to admit.

Especially with another person in the room with us.

I’ve watched littles struggle to do it in front of me.

I’ve watched a few succeed.

I watched Tyson, and a few friends, find true ‘little space’ at CAPCON, seeming to actually morph into their little selves during the Great Nerf Gun Battle of 2016.

I watched Chad disappear into his own thoughts during his visit to Orlando.

And, more recently, I watched Z completely lose his adult faculties, including the ability to speak, for an extended period.

At some point in the near future I’ll share a blog entry about watching Z go from 18 years old to 18 months old in a matter of seconds.

Not just acting, but feeling.

Not just feeling, but being

It was unlike anything I’ve seen before.

It was total chemistry between a little and his big. Total trust.

And complete comfortability within the little himself.

It was some combination of all of these things - and it was next level.

I don’t want to document each and every minute of my experiences, with Z or anyone else, in blog format, for fear that the knowledge that his every move could end up in one of my stories could dissuade magical moments like that in the future.

Still, he is pretty open to things being shared. If I am going to, I at least want to tell the story right. (If you know me, or have even just read my blog for a while, you know it takes me a while to blog about stuff that means something to me). It will take me a little bit more time to compose that blog entry.

In the meantime, I’m going to share some pictures from our long Columbus Day weekend (Indigenous Peoples’ Day? Canadian Thanksgiving?) on the boat.

It was three days of Z effortlessly connecting with his little side, and three days of Cwis connecting with an amazing little ABDL.

It was also a three-day period of Cwis connecting with another side of himself - a side that surprised even me.

I’d say it was a weekend of surprises, really.

Take messy diapers, for example.

Many of you know that I’ve never been fully comfortable changing them. I often avoid it. Yet, somehow, in all of the time he’s spent with me, I’ve never actually seen little Z use the potty. Or even ask to. Or even hint that he has to go. I’m honestly not even sure if he actually knows how to use it lol. We just go about our daily routine, for days at a time, and diapers are changed as needed. NBD.

When you feel that connection, the ‘ick’ factor disappears, and diapers are just something you do for the little in your life.

I’m also finding myself surprisingly at ease taking on the “daddy” role.

That's right... I said it.

Me: I guesssssss I ammmmm approaching Daddy status.

     [uncomfortable silence]

Z: I mean, if you really think about it, I think you’ll agree you actually long since approached it.

     Me: I don’t know about that… I still feel -

Z: Well, let’s do the math...

     [Breaks out the math problems]

Me: (reluctantly) Well, then… be a good boy for Daddy and stop with the numbers already. [sigh...]

LOL.

For as reluctant as I was to accept it, I found an uncomfortable amount of uncertainty in relinquishing the role when Z returned to school, especially after such an amazing long weekend. Z is forced/blessed to return to adulthood in pursuit of the degree that will cause him to ‘grow up’ even more, and I'm off to work. Do I 'turn it off' and keep it adult during the week? Or do I hit him with some 'baby talk' here and there? Don't want to distract him and pull him from his studies and back into 'little space'. (And in comes Z with a text - another A. He seems to have found the balance.)

I'm surprised, too, at how much more I resent the 'boy collectors' of our community now. I think it bothered me less when I was merely a 'sitter' but damn - the connections we make our special. I'd already suspected it, but now I'm certain: hoards of littles rob them of the individualized attention they deserve. I'm not sure how some can be 'daddy' to dozens and have it seem real - it takes a ton of emotional energy making that kind of real connection with one

Anyway...

I can post adorable pictures up and down Abysitter.com, and across Tumblr, all day long. But being able to share stories like the one I will be posting, as we plan one last overnight to the boat for the season… and talk of winter cottage pajama parties… and some playdates with area friends… like I said, lucky is an understatement.

I'm loving making these connections, and I look forward to sharing some of it all with you.

In the meantime, some pictures from my long weekend with Z.

Or, Z's long weekend with Daddy.

Not off to a very good start lol.

The weekend began with a very wet butt.
And, a wet car seat.

I've got a little pants-wetter on my hands.

Actually leaked through a Pull-Up.
(Who even does that?)

After the damp-bottom walk of shame down the dock...

It would be time for a discussion.

Cwis:
Car seat wet, pants soaked.
We definitely aren't putting you in
Pull-Ups again for a while.

Z:
No fair!
I want to wear them!
They were what I wore when I was little!

Cwis:
I'm less interested in you feeling little,
and more interested in whether Little Paws will
keep things dry around here, Z.

Z:
I don't care! I'm keeping my Pull-Ups on!

A few minutes later, though...

And after much, much pouting,
another trip out.

In diapers.

Much, much drier on the return this time...

(Good boy!!!)

Now that a dry bottom is all but guaranteed,
we can take trips to fun places
even further...

(I've said the kid's not human. Ironic lol.)

Back in the car
Z entertains himself during the trip to the boat.

Watching cartoons tires a li'l squirt out!
Time for a change...

And finally, naptime...

Much more to come...
