Did anyone else catch True Life on MTV last night? If you did you know what I'm talking about: an entire hour-long episode dedicated to adult babies, including Daddy Lee, Robert, and our very own Xander!
I felt like the producers did an amazing job portraying ABDL in a positive light. There was zero humor at our expense; if you've watched us portrayed on talk shows from Dr. Phil to Jerry Springer you know there's always condescension mixed in with a bit of concern and curiosity.
There wasn't a lot of humor, period, actually. The episode explained the real-life issues each member of our community was having, including documenting Robert's journey from Tennessee to Kentucky to live as a full-time little. (The episode also featured a female ABDL who dabbles in BDSM and struggles to find the right partner, and a straight male ABDL who's need to be a little tends to put a bit of pressure on his marriage.)
