Sponsor Profile: Diaper-Minister.com

I'll be profiling my contest sponsors during the month of May.

Up today is someone new: Diaper-Minister.com

Based in France, Diaper Minister carries a wide assortment of ABDL diaper products, including Crinklz, Cuddlz, and Tykables. They also carry incontinence diapers, as well as sample packs, plus pacifiers and onesies.

Diaper-Minister.com is sponsoring the "Best of Show - Europe" prize. This particular prize is only open to contest entrants from European countries. So far, there's just one entrant from all of Europe, so if nobody else enters, he wins! Woo hoo!

And what a prize: a ten-pack of the brand new Kiddo diaper. This adorable looking diaper, pictured below, is just rolling off the line this month, and will be available for sale soon - click the link above to place your pre-order now.

In addition to the above, the "Best of Show - Europe" winner will receive a Size 5 pacifier and a 10-pack sample pack of adult diapers - see photos below:

Again, this particular prize pack is a special prize designated for our top vote-getter in all of Europe.

Thanks again to Diaper-Minister.com, for being a 2016 #AbysitterContest sponsor and an awesome community partner!

Upcoming Blog Entry/PDF

Coming soon, I'll be posting a two-part blog entry,
and a link to a PDF
on the importance of responsibility
in the AB/DL community
when it comes to
keeping things
18+.

This is an important post,
and I hope that you
will share it
with some of the people
in our community
who need to
see it.

When it comes to
protecting TBDLs,
protecting the ABDL community,
protecting ourselves,
and protecting each other,
keeping a separation
between
ABDL and TBDL
i.e.
"KEEPING IT 18+"
is the safest way to go.

It's certainly not foolproof,
especially with the glut of TBDL content
being pushed out to Tumblr
lately.

But it's a start,
and is basically the least our community can do.

The blog entry and e-book chapter
both address some of the
misinformation
you often hear thrown around
our community
by those who think
our activities should be open
to all ages.

Don't worry,
I'll still be focusing on the contest,
and I'll be putting out lots of other entries,
like the 'Big Boy Bucket' etc.
But our community is far too important to me
to just sit on the 18+ entry
forever.

If you'd like to see a preview
or have anything to add
please email me
at abysitter@gmail.com.

Sponsor Profile: EuroDL.nl

I'll be profiling my contest sponsors during the month of May.

We featured EuroDL.nl here in 2013, since they were a sponsor for that contest as well, making them a two-time Abysitter.com ABDL Photo Contest sponsor - we appreciate them!

EuroDL is an incontinence and ABDL shop out of Europe, catering to our community with disposable (medical and ABDL) diapers, cloth diapers, plastic pants, locking plastic pants, and a variety of other products.

They carry the Abri-Form M4/L4, Crinklz, Cuddlz, and a variety of other diapers. Their best-selling product is a sample pack of several different diapers - check it out here

For this year's "Most Creative Face Obscurement" category they are donating a limited edition Crinklz t-shirt. I figure those not bold enough to show their face may just be a bit shy in public, too - and if you're keeping a secret, you can feel just a little bit bold as you rock your Crinklz t around town. Hehe!

Thanks again to EuroDL, for being a two-time sponsor and awesome community partner!

My next entry for the 2016 Abysitter.com ABDL Photo Contest is in! Woo hoo! These photos come from DiaperLad935. DiaperLad935 hails from Adelanto, CA.

Two photos have been submitted, here: the mirror pic, and a photo of the sign itself.

Be sure to follow him on Tumblr!

Enter My Foto Contest!

Last night it was brought to my attention that some "anon" messages were making the rounds on Tumblr asking if people are "doing the foto contest."

I got this message, too, and was confused, at first. Watching my feed, though, shows that it is definitely this contest that is being bantered about.

The messages don't seem to be positive or negative, really - just annoying. They certainly aren't helping the contest, since most of the ones I've seen don't mention anything about the contest itself, and if answered by the people receiving them with questions - like "what contest?" - the anon doesn't ever seem to answer the questions. That's not helping lol...

I can't be sure who is posting, and whether they trying to be supportive, annoying, or are just curious and trying to size up the competition.

But I am suspicious of the messages, too, and while I can't be sure, I think I have an idea of the origin of them. After I posted the initial post about the contest someone slid into my DM's to offer some helpful "promotional services" - in short, I'd get a number of reblogs from accounts with what were said to be a large number of followers - but only if I provided free product or payment in exchange.

I posted about this last week. My blog is not a business, and unless I begin babysitting professionally or launch a store and begin selling products, I won't make any money from it. I've posted a lot of posts for diaper companies, ABDL events, and even posts to people's personal blogs and Tumblr's through the years, and with more than 1,250 blog posts over the past 8 + years I have never made a penny off of anything related to Abysitter.com.

I also don't solicit or receive free product, and never have. I've been offered free products many times, but I don't accept anything free or reduced because I like the ability to be honest about what I post without obligation to anyone. I pay full-price for diapers and other products, and I don't complain about that. I think that this is the first time I've even written about it.

The one exception, of course, is prize sponsorships. A number of amazing community partners - ABDL companies, events, and even other ABDLs - have donated prizes for this contest, as they did for my contests in 2013 and 2012. I am grateful for their support. They do it out of a genuine enthusiasm for the ABDL community, and out of excitement for contests like this. They get to showcase their products and events to a dedicated audience, but the truth is they could probably put the amount of money they donate in product to my contest into PPC ads or some other form of advertising and at least equal their return on investment.

One option, it appears, is paying Tumblr users to reblog contest announcements and sales in exchange for freebies. I honestly had no idea that this existed until I launched this contest. Now I'll be suspicious - when I see someone who almost never reposts anything for anyone suddenly repost something for a company, I'll think - paid post, can't trust it. And that sucks.

Rest assured, the people who have reposted my Tumblr contest posts, and retweeted and otherwise shared them on other platforms, are sharing and reposting out of support for the contest, my blog, me, or just the community in general. And the companies that have donated products to this know those products will not go to me - they will go to you, the people who enter and win.

If you see people responding to anon posts asking random questions about my "foto contest" feel free to hit them up with an answer to their questions. Or just link them to contest.abysitter.com

This contest is supposed to be fun, and isn't intended to be a business, and I won't let kids who have apparently turned their Tumblr followings into a microindustry hijack that.

Thanks for your support,

Cwis

Sponsor Profile: AgeComfort.com

I'll be profiling my contest sponsors during the month of May.

We featured AgeComfort.com here in 2013, since they were a sponsor for that contest as well, making them a two-time Abysitter.com ABDL Photo Contest sponsor - woot woot!

AgeComfort.com is a leading supplier of incontinence products in Canada. They carry a number of well-known brands, including Abena, Tena, and Attends, as well as swim diapers and more.

For this year's "Best In Show: Canada" category - the Canadian with the highest number of votes - they are donating a brand new product: a bag of Forsite AM PM Maximum Absorbency Briefs. These diapers are thirsty - they're rated to an absorbency rating of 5000ml - higher than any other diaper we've seen - and boast soft-standing leak guards, a wetness indicator, odor protection, and a high-grade USA fluff core.

We're pretty sure some little Canuckistanian is going to enjoy keeping bone dry in these!

Thanks again to AgeComfort.com, for being a two-time sponsor and awesome community partner!

Contest! Another Entry is IN!

Visit Contest.Abysitter.com to see all of the entries!

My next entry for the 2016 Abysitter.com ABDL Photo Contest is in! Woo hoo!

These photos come from SubBoyInDiapers, or the shortened version for Tumblr: SubBoyInDiaps

Two photos have been entered, here: the first for the 'sissy baby' category, and the second for the main contest. Also, since SubBoyInDiapers hails from France, he is eligible for the 'Best in Show: Europe' prize, sponsored by Diaper-MinisterOnly one prize can be won by a single entrant, though - see the Contest FAQs for details on how that works.

Contest Updates!

A few updates
and FAQ's on my contest...

contest.abysitter.com

Can I wait until the last minute?

I've had several inquiries as to whether their entries can be entered last minute, and/or whether they can enter on 5/31 at 11:59 - i.e. "what time zone is that in?"

Assuming people aren't just mega procrastinators, I'm assuming there are a few people who may think there is an advantage to being last on the page when it comes to voting.

Please don't wait until the last minute -

Wait, I had to share the Tumblr post?

In order to enter, you have to share the Tumblr post that announces the contest.

You'll find it here: if you haven't already done so, please give it a reblog.

If you do not have a Tumblr account, include that info with your entry when you email it.

I'll be checking for shares before posting entries, so be sure to share it.

And for the people who've said they want to share it at the last minute - "the fewer people who know, the better chance I have of winning" is how one person put it - have more confidence in your entries lol.

Oh, and if you've shared it already - I see you! You guys rock - thanks for helping me get the word out.

I can't write a story... can I still enter?

The 'story' component was added this year because in past years I've always gotten complaints from people who felt like a sign was simply not enough space to convey their love for diapers.

"Can I write more to go with my photo?" they'd ask.

The answer was always... sorry, but no.

Now you can - up to 250 words.

Except, to be fair to those who don't want to write, I am going to put the stories below the photos - in their own section.

Best story wins $50. Second and third place runner up receive books on ABDL.

The story is optional - but if you have something you'd like to say, share it with us, for the chance to win an additional prize.

Separate Categories for Sissies

I've decided to accept separate photos for the regular contest and for the 'sissy baby' category.

You can enter one photo for both the regular contest and the 'sissy baby' vote.

Or you may enter two separate photos - one non-sissy and one sissy.

You'll be eligible for voting in both the regular contest and the sissybaby category, but you can only win in one - if you take a prize in the main contest, I'll skip you when tallying the results for the other.

It's important that the prizes be spread around as much as possible, so that more people have a chance to win.

You can win both the 'best story' prize and another. So if you're hungry for prizes, get your 250-word essay in, and let's go.

Why 18+?

I'm working on a blog entry about this, and it will be up for publication soon. Stay tuned...

Other Stuff...

Visit the contest page to view the FAQ's - they're way at the bottom below the rules. If that doesn't answer your question, or you have others, please email me.

Sponsor Profile: Pacifiers R Us / AdultPacifier.com

[LOOKING FOR THE CONTEST PAGE? CLICK HERE]

Sponsor Profile: Pacifiers R Us

I'll be profiling my contest sponsors during the month of May.

Let's start with PacifiersRUs.com and AdultPacifier.com, since they sponsored my contests in both 2012 and 2013, making them three-time sponsors.

Pacifiers R Us sells adult pacifiers. Their adult pacifiers are modified using baby pacifier guards and holders that you can buy in any retail store - they simply replace the teat, or nipple, with an adult-size teat.

Their infant or toddler size teats are modified to adult size teats using 7 different Latex and Silicone teats, such as the Orthodontic and Therapeutic Teat 5 (aka the famous Nuk5). The Long Stem Orthodontic and Therapeutic Teat 7's are exclusive to Pacifiers R Us!

You can choose your next pacifier from their premade catalog, or try out their Build A Pacifier option. Have a favorite pacifier with sentimental value? Send it to them - they'll modify it from $22.99.

Pacifiers R Us also sells these neat little pacifier cradle holders, and modified baby bottles too - picture a regular-sized bottle with an XL nipple. Check out their site for the details and photos.

I've wanted a "Nuk 5" paci for quite some time - the pacifier that they call a "Teat 5" to avoid any copyright wars with the Nuk company hehe. Even though they've sponsored not one but two of my contests, and even held a sale with a special "Abysitter" code that a bunch of you took advantage of, something kept me from placing my own order. They were at CAPCON at the same time as me and my wallet, though, and I rooted around in their bins and found one that I love.

Let's just say, I will never go back to a regular pacifier again.

Next up I hope to try their brand-new 'adult guard' pacifiers. I'm probably not allowed to win the one in the graphic below, but you can - if you're on Tumblr and you like and reblog their Tumblr post. Find them at pacifiersrus.tumblr.com, or just click the graphic below and follow the instructions!

Thanks again to PacifiersRUs, and AdultPacifier.com, for being such an awesome community partner through the years - you guys rock.

Contest! The First Entry Is In!

Visit Contest.Abysitter.com to see all of the entries!

My first entries for the 2016 Abysitter.com ABDL Photo Contest are in! Woo hoo!

These photos, now known as entries #001b and #001a, come from Alex, someone new to the community. Alex, from Miramar Beach, FL, has been lurking on Tumblr for a little while, but had never posted there until now, and says entering this contest gave him the encouragement he needed to snap some pics.

I was pleased that my first entry got everything right, because I've had people complain that the rules are too hard to understand - one person says he even gave up trying to figure it out. Wow, really? Somehow Alex here managed to do it without any problem. Go, Alex!

  • Like and reblog the Tumblr contest entry? Check!
  • Make a sign with something about his story and Abysitter.com? Check!
  • Snap some adorable photos of said sign? Check!
  • Post photo to Tumblr using the hashtags (check!), the contest link (check!), and 18+ (check!)
  • Send photo to me via email? Check!
  • Finally, verify age when asked without any crying? Check!

Alex says he had a lot of fun taking these, and hopes to enter other contests in the future. He's looking for new friends, too, so hit him up on Tumblr, and give his contest entry post a reblog!

I try not to spam, and besides times that I'm holding a contest most of my emails are just apologies for not sending out an email for quite a while and/or blogging more sporadically than I should. But I'm planning on doing another 'What Makes Us Tick' series - you can read the last one on my blog here: [start with the intro] [then read part II] and [finish with part III].

I'd like some help with that, and will send out occasional emails on what I'm doing via my mailing list it. If you're interested in being a part of this, click the link above and sign up!
