MTV: True Life ABDL

Did anyone else catch True Life on MTV last night? If you did you know what I'm talking about: an entire hour-long episode dedicated to adult babies, including Daddy Lee, Robert, and our very own Xander

I felt like the producers did an amazing job portraying ABDL in a positive light. There was zero humor at our expense; if you've watched us portrayed on talk shows from Dr. Phil to Jerry Springer you know there's always condescension mixed in with a bit of concern and curiosity.

There wasn't a lot of humor, period, actually. The episode explained the real-life issues each member of our community was having, including documenting Robert's journey from Tennessee to Kentucky to live as a full-time little. (The episode also featured a female ABDL who dabbles in BDSM and struggles to find the right partner, and a straight male ABDL who's need to be a little tends to put a bit of pressure on his marriage.)

Sorry I didn't get an alert posted for y'all to give you a heads up. You can watch the 'sneak peak' here. And for cable subscribers, the entire episode is available online - just log in using your television login info. If Daddy Lee gets a free link, he'll send it our way.

Great job representing us, guys!

By the way, you can find Daddy Lee (with Robert) and Xander on Tumblr:

A Padded Visitor to the Boat? Yes!

As most of my readers probably know, I relocated to upstate New York in August, purchasing a cabin cruiser and moving aboard. I spent most of the summer and fall living the #boatlife, but while I've been pretty much 24/7 since day one, I've had very little time to actually regress - and I missed it!

Since the cooler weather has invaded, it seems vanillas aren't flocking to the boat as much - or maybe the novelty has just worn off. Either way, I've started to get nights to myself here or there, and you know what that means: vanillas gone, diapers ON!

I spent one night padded up on the bench on the bow of my boat, and loved every second of it. (Diapered stargazing? Fuck yea!) I've also spent a lot of time crawling around the salon and cabin, letting 'Little Cwis' come out - trying to make up for lost time. Can't wait until next summer, when one berth is transformed into a crib, a ball pit is (hopefully) added. Let the diapered cruising parties commence!

In the meantime, I have started to reach out on Diaper-Bois and Fetlife in the hopes of meeting new people from the local community, and - so far - I'm loving every second!

Some of you may know that I previously lived in an area rife with diaper cliques and a shit ton of diaper drama. Just trying to meet someone local there was a fucking production, and I went through that bullshit for almost ten years.

Up north I've already met two people within a week of each other, and have plans to meet a few more in the coming days/weeks - and, thusfar, it's all been drama-free.

When I left this place ten years ago our community was virtually non-existent - it was part of the reason I decided to move. I relocated to a city where the diapering should have been amazing, but was met with rudeness and resistance - I found controlling diaper daddies and diaper drama from the get go. Upon returning here I find that upstate New York people are coming out of their shells - the community has grown, and people are beginning to meet up with each other - and nobody is excluded. That's what's up! (Plus I'm just a few hours via train from NYC - already have plans to meet someone from there, and do a meet up in Buffalo, and... it goes on and on.)

I. Love. Meeting. Local. Littles.

So anyway, I met up with a local college student about week ago - my first actual ABDL to visit the boat, woo hoo! This kid was hella chill, and we even managed to sneak in some photos. Check out the pics I've posted below, and follow him on Tumblr for more of his adorable ass...

First off, let's just get this out of the way...
close that, because it won't be needed on this boat.

Naptime...

Nights are getting chilly on the lake,
so a full footed sleeper in in order for bedtime...

A shot from the bridge.
Boat rule #1: no damp bottoms in the captain's chair!

A little diapered hike by the lake, to round out the weekend...

Q&A With BabyBenjieBoy

Up today I've got a Q&A and some adorable pics from Baby Benjie Boy. You may know him from Tumblr (benjieminaj91.tumblr.com) and Twitter (@benjieminaj91)! Thanks, Benjamin!

Want to do a Q&A? Email me! Put "Q&A" in the subject, and send to abysitter@gmail.com. 18+!

Q&A With BabyBenjieBoy

Name/Nick: benjamin morales/babybenjieboy
Age: 25/ but act like 2 year old
City/State/Country: lancaster, pa, usa
AB/DL/BabyFur/Other: abdl

When did you first realize you were ABDL?

I first realize i was abdl is when i was i little kid. Like when i was 6. I always try to get back in my baby diapers and my old baby onsie. Always try to play in a playpen. When i get to high school i found out by close friend about the abdl world. He show me on the internet and that I'm not the only one. Since then my life changed.

What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

i had a neighbor who knows about my love for diapers and being baby. Since he baby sit me when parents weren't home. He always bought me diapers and put me in them.

Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

No one in my family knows. Or i guess.

How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating? Married life? Parenting?

Well in my social single life is hard to find someone who is approving. Also who wants a boy to baby. Cause guy or daddy wants a girl to baby. If they did want a boy it has to be skinny and buff.

Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?

I have a great childhood. But when i turn 13 i suddenly felt less attention then i did when i kid and baby.

For the little dunces, please tell us about what it was like to discover this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet. Please be at least 18 at the time of writing, but be specific about what age you discovered it, what sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious reasons.

When i was 16 saw pics first on tumblr and google images. I was like wow i couldn't stop looking at pics and videos. Then join yahoo chat and skype for asking question made friends online to help me and bring my baby side out more more.

Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

I love wet and messy diapers. It makes me feel so much more of baby. It great feeling of being little and helpless.  Diaper disciplinarian i think is great.  Is someone helping and making you more use to being in diapers.

What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

When diaper up i always get hard. So my percentage is 90%. 😋  it kinda cause little problems when moving around.

If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.

i defiantly get into regression. I never try it with someone. It been my dream to be regress by someone. I think it can helped bring more of my little side out.

ANYTHING ELSE TO ADD?

Im definitely looking for daddy or mommy. My contact info is benjie100532@gmail.com babybenjieboy on tumblr and twitter is benjieminaj91

TeddyCon

I posted about some changes in my life last month. At that point I was hoping I'd be able to attend TeddyCon - I'd bought my tickets months ago, and had offers of car pools and room shares - thanks for that, by the way. To be honest, I'd looked forward to this since I started counting down to it the moment I left Capcon in March!

In the end, I wasn't able to make it - a combination of boating expenses and commitments here saw to that. Between messages all weekend from folks wondering if I was around, and text updates from friends, I felt like I was there - not sure if that made things harder or easier haha. It sounds like everyone had a really good time. Grr!

TeddyCon was the grand prize sponsor for my 2016 photo contest, and I was looking forward to meeting the sponsors, and the winners, at this event. Sorry that I couldn't make it - looking forward to TeddyCon 2017, and I'll be at Capcon 2017 as well.

If anyone has any photos that they are authorized to share, or stories, from TeddyCon, email me! And if you haven't been, I'm told tickets for next year will be on sale soon, check them out online!

Changes...

One of you thought I fell off a cruise ship.

Another one of you thought that I went bankrupt doing my ABDL Photo Contest and quit the scene.

I ghosted from the ABDL space for a few months, and now that I'm signing back in to my email account and logging in on social media, I am getting all of your messages. Some of them are cracking me up!

Those of you who know me in real life, or who follow me on my personal (vanilla) Facebook, already know this. For those who don't: a move, and some major life changes, came my way over the summer.

That, for me, involved taking a few months off from blogging.

Now that I'm back, I'll clue you in to what's up.

If you've been reading my blog since the beginning you might remember that, back before I moved to Orlando, I spent my summers on a sailboat in upstate New York.

Quite a few of you have read about it, and three of you have even spent time on it. My boat was a cross between a boat and a cradle, and I spent many nights on it, diapered, being rocked to sleep in my watery berth. I loved every minute of it.

Then I moved to Florida, got a job in Orlando, and climbed the corporate ladder a bit. Over nearly ten years in the south I built a life that, while landlocked, seemed like the 'next chapter' for me.

During that time I got to meet so many of you. You've probably heard me say it many times: I considered myself super lucky to live in Orlando, always ranked #1 or #2 nationally for tourism. From 2006 through 2016 y'all visited the city for family vacations, spring break trips, corporate events, or - for a few of you - just to come see me.

I got to meet so many people I would not have met if I lived somewhere else. Having come from a region where the ABDL scene was DOA I realized how lucky I was, and never took it for granted.

My company moved my division to Washington state late last year. I had the option of picking up and moving, or leaving and taking a generous severance package. I chose the latter. As much as I might like Seattle, and the ABDL scene in the Pacific Northwest, I wasn't ready for that big of a move. I chose to stay in Orlando and freelance, spending as much time as I could outdoors in the sun, and spending as much of that time as I could in diapers. After ten years of work work work work work, it was nice to not work for a bit! I attended my first-ever con, and had time to put on the contest. I traveled a bit, hosted a bit, went on a cruise, and had some fun.

I spent some of that time browsing the internet in the months after being laid off, and I won't lie: I spent time looking at sailboats on the Atlantic coast, and at houseboats across the southern half of the U.S. I daydreamed a lot, picturing myself buying a sailboat and cruising to the Bahamas, or even buying a houseboat and moving aboard.

There is something about your professional life changing drastically in a short amount of time that wakes you up: you start to realize that pouring your life into a job is not what you thought it was while you were doing it. A few job offers in or around Orlando came my way, but I wasn't ready to start yet. And then it hit me: what I really wanted was to start over

I think the Orlando Pulse shooting was the catalyst for my finally realizing that it was time to stop thinking about making a change, and time to actually make a change. I was living a few miles from from club when the shooting occurred, and the news dominated the headlines every day until I left for my vacation. I watched with all of you as the name of victim after victim were made public and then published, and read the stories of each person killed on the news. It struck me that, in their biographies in the paper, their lives were reduced to a series of facts. How old were they? Where were they from? Where did they go to school? Where did they work?

I realized, as I was watching and listening to their stories, I kept thinking how pointless some of the facts being shared were. One victim was a chef at a local hotel, and the news readers mentioned that repeatedly, as if the man's job defined who he was. I realized that my bio just months before would be very different from my bio now - and that neither of them would be how I'd want to be remembered.

Cwis spent years working for a greedy corporation!

as opposed to

Cwis freelanced a bit...

Who cares what Cwis did for a living? That seems important while you are doing it, but when a reporter is telling your story for the TV and you're dead, it seems so trivial...

Tell what they loved to do!

Share who they loved!

Tell their stories, and don't be limited to a series of facts like where they worked, as if, for most of them, that meant anything more than a paycheck - or, before their deaths, they anything more than hours on a schedule to their employer.

I took my annual vacation to New York in July, like I have every year for the past ten, and thoughts of the Pulse victims, and the finality of life itself, were on my own.

In between days spent on the dock at the cottage - both in diapers and out of them - and so many friend and family functions, I took a few drives out to boats for sale. I looked at sailboats, and I looked at houseboats. I looked at a cabin cruiser or two.

One boat in particular caught my eye. It was a little bit more than I was looking to spend, and it was a bit older than I was interested in, but it was a lot of boat for the money: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, private shower, and a big salon - that's boatspeak for living room.

It was a true liveaboard.

A few days before I was scheduled to return to Florida the price was lowered.

I went to take a look, and decided to change my life.

Purchasing the boat, insurance, registration, and the marina slip blew through what was left of my severance, and part of my savings, as well.

The day I moved aboard I had a full-blown anxiety attack. This new lifestyle was completely and totally different from my life prior. Had I been made a mistake?

After two months of living aboard, I'll admit that I did make a mistake. The mistake was not doing this sooner

I regret not making this decision the day I left my job.

I regret ever accepting that job, and not figuring out a way to do this ten years ago!

Living on a boat is a lot like living in a tiny house: space is limited, and everything is built-in - the beds and some of the other furniture. You learn tricks to increase very limited storage space - I bought a cooler that doubles as an end table, and a coffee table that raises to become a desk and includes storage, as well. I found a hanging locker that is perfect for storing diapers and supplies, and will have an Amish carpenter put together something to increase that storage next year. For now, the rest of my stash goes with most of the things that didn't make the cut for my new 'home' - into storage.

I spent most of my summer entertaining vanilla friends and family members, with everyone wanting to come out to see the new boat. There's a saying, something about you find out how many friends you have when you buy a boat, and I can tell you that is definitely true. Not that I'm complaining - reconnecting with people has been great. But when your boat is also your home, you start figuring out that there are limits, and it's up to you to set them. That is doubly true if you need some regression time.

Sad you don't see any diaperboys in this pic? Come join me and be one hehe....

did spend a considerable part of my summer in diapers, even going nearly 24/7 for weeks on end. For those of you who know about boats, the bathrooms are called 'heads', and the toilets empty into holding tanks that must be pumped out at a special dock relatively frequently. Thus, many boat owners try to limit how often their heads are used by guests. I, too, set some rules. When we're at the dock (which is 99% of the time) I and my guests use the marina bathrooms and showers - that cuts down on trips to the pumpout station. But walking to the bathroom sucks, especially now that it's getting colder, so you had better believe this dude quickly figured out that being diapered around-the-clock is the way to go. So fucking convenient! People on the other boats here sometimes crack jokes about using diapers to avoid having to take their boats to the pumpout station. One of us isn't joking hehe.

I've already diapered someone on the boat - an old vanilla friend who pamped up with me just so he could say he was the first. Still, no pictures yet. I'm not sure if I'll get anyone out here before the end of this season, but I'm looking forward to meeting some of the upstate New York ABDL scene and, hopefully, having some people out to the boat for 2017.

I'm envisioning diapered photoshoots in this awesome little berth I'm planning on converting to a crib of sorts - you'll see pictures as that takes place. (I'm thinking of going with a 'whales' theme. Definitely something nautical, anyway.) And I've been talking to a few ABDL's I'm close with about taking the train in for a diapered weekend out on the lake. Who knows what the future holds?

One of the negatives about owning a boat in New York is that it needs to be hauled out for a few months during winter. That means that for most of November, as well as December, January, February, and March, I will be living on land, working on the boat and working. I'll be at CAPCON at the end of March and, if the weather cooperates, will return home to put my boat back in the water the very next day.

For now I am learning how to pilot a big-ass boat (this thing is huge), and learning to adjust to life on the water.

Living on a boat in the northeast is very economical, one of the reasons I chose to begin my boating life here: I can keep my boat in the water for $250/month including electric, way cheaper than most of the marinas I found down south. I also love it here, and - as many of you know - this lake has been special to me since I was a little kid.

Still, I can't say that I'll do this here forever - I can see myself motoring down south in a year or two, finding a space somewhere that the boat can be in the water all year. Between now and then I'll be looking to connect up with ABies with boating experience. Looking for new Pampered friends, and hopefully one day even a little diapered 'first mate' to share the #boatlife with.

If you're already living in upstate New York, email me - hoping to get to know some of you!

And if you have experience with bigger boats, and/or want to come out for some diapered time on the water, hit me up!

I know I took some time away from the blog, and even signed off of my ABDL accounts for a bit, keeping in touch with some of you via texting and phone calls, but losing touch with many. Those of you who are friends with me in real life, or who follow my vanilla accounts, have seen lots of boat pics already. But for everyone else, sorry if I missed your messages! And for those who visited Orlando and had hoped to hang, sorry that I didn't get back to you - I'm working on replying to email, FetLife, and etc. messages now.

Once again: hit me up if you're local to upstate or have experience with big boats. Or just if you'd like to reconnect! I promise I'll get back to you ASAP.

#BabyBuilder

I can't wait for this movie! And from the looks of the Facebook posts between my ABDL and even my vanilla friends, I'm not alone. #babybuilder

Hi, I'm Chris...

If you ever visited Orlando and found yourself confused because someone else gave you the impression that they were me when they set up a meeting with you, well - that's not a problem anymore.

If you visited Orlando and thought you were meeting with me but didn't actually get to - you know what I'm talking about. <3

#PrayForOrlando

If you are watching the news here in the US you've probably seen the news about the mass shooting here in Orlando, where one or more shooters with so far-unknown motivations unleashed a hail of bullets in a popular gay nightclub, Pulse, overnight Saturday.

We will wait to hear more, but here's hoping none of our community were among the injured or killed - this club is very popular among local ABDLs. If you pray, please keep all of those affected by this in your prayers.

UPDATE: I've gotten text messages, emails, and Facebook messages from so many people across the US and even internationally wanting to know if I'm okay, and/or if the local central Florida community is ok. While I can't speak for everyone in Orlando, I can say that I've seen all fifty names, and it appears that nobody from our community were among those killed. So. Thankful. But our hearts go out to those who were, and their families and friends, because they were a part of the larger gay community here, targeted for exactly that reason. The fact that people are reaching out like this touches my heart - thank you so much. Our community is fucking awesome.

Looking for a list of the victims? Click here. It is being updated over time.

In Orlando and want to donate blood? Click here. Be forewarned, the waits are extremely long - up to five hours in some places. Some blood donation centers are taking donations of water, snacks, umbrellas, and etc.

Want to make a donation? Donations are over $2 million so far. Click here for the GoFundMe page.

In The News: Tykables Controversy

When Snuggies was still in the formation stages and trying to find investors I did quite a bit of promotional posts for them, both on my blog and via Twitter. Some people mistook my posts and tweets for my having an ownership stake in the would-be company, and I found myself explaining that my posts were just informational in nature and that I had no actual connection to the business. My purpose for sharing was two-fold: I post stuff of interest to the community all the time, and this was no exception; and, I saw the potential of Snuggies diapers - I was, after all, a huge fan of the Snuggies series of pasties by Vincent Vangoo back in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Most of you know the rest: Snuggies did, indeed, come to fruition. They designed and manufactured some diapers, and then improved them with various production runs. They eventually changed their name to Tykables - it appears that Snuggies and Huggies were a bit too close - and continued to put out product, even sponsoring some events (CAPCON, a play area at the Folsom Street Fair, etc.).

The company recently opened a physical store in a suburb of Chicago, and owner Todaler put out a video on YouTube inviting people to visit.

This did not sit well with the locals, somehow tipped off to the existence of this video, and they began to organize an opposition to the shop. Dozens of them converged on a village council meeting recently, demanding that the store be shut down.

Their reasons were the typical reasons given by anyone who doesn't have a full understanding of ABDL: sex may be happening inside... there's an elementary school just down the street... sex shops don't belong in a residential neighborhood... you've heard some of it before, so you get the idea.

This has, probably not surprisingly, been covered by local media. And now the story is getting picked up by the national media...

I've had a few people ask me to weigh in on this since the story first broke - whether I think it's good for the community, bad for the community, or catastrophic for the community. (I'm a bit late on this because my ABDL Photo/Story contest was going on until two days ago.)

I've heard from people who are angry that Tykables opened a physical store at all - some believe that our love for diapers belongs online, or in fetish shops, and not in shops they believe are fetish shops masquerading as nurseries or diaper stores.

I've heard from other people who are angry at the Mount Prospect, IL community - they believe that the shop has every right to be there, and that the townsfolk are nothing more uptight NIMBY's who are discriminating against a shop - one person called it a 'civil rights violation'.

And then, of course, there are positions in between.

I'm honestly undecided as to whether making the move to a physical store was a good idea.

That said, there are already adult nurseries in some cities, and have been for more than a decade. The idea that a store catering to our community would open in the U.S. one day is something that many of us have discussed for decades - Rearz, in Canada, already has a warehouse with a store within it, and we hoped for something similar here in the US.

There are a few mistakes I think the Tykables folks made, although hindsight is 20/20 in these things:

  • The shop appears to have failed to consider restricting their business to those 18 and above at first, offering to do so if the local government requested it;
  • They placed building blocks in the windows, which undoubtedly created a welcoming display, but was misinterpreted by some neighbors as an attempt to be "inviting to minors."

My regular readers alright know how I feel about keeping our community 18+, and I believe that this should have been something that the business was clear about right up front. There is no reason that any diaper company should be inviting anyone under 18 to shop in their store. There has been controversy lately about diaper companies creating marketing videos featuring minors in cartoon form, and diaper companies liking pictures of minors on Instagram:

For all of the people willing to forgive - including those who believe that our community should be open to all ages - there are just as many who recognize that our community has been associated with pedophilia by those who lack an understanding of who we are and what we are about, and they point to things like those above as continuations of the stereotype.

I've seen pictures of the storefront, and I can sympathize with neighbors who are concerned that a gigantic wall of building blocks could make children believe that the store is "child-friendly." That obviously wasn't the intent, though - it appears that the wall was created to keep eyes outside the store from peering in.

All of that said, I think that Tod is doing a good job of getting out front of this. Offering to change the policy to 18+ is a good, if late, decision. And the company has agreed to have the window glass professionally frosted, and in the interim has covered the windows with white curtains, also a good decision.

I texted some advice to Todaler privately, as well as a bit of encouragement - regardless of what you may think about the decision to open a physical store and other aspects of that, he's found himself going from virtual obscurity to the public face of ABDL overnight. That's a lot of pressure, and I'm sure it will build as the story goes national.

Todaler seems to be doing his best to educate the media on the basics of ABDL. Some of the news articles I've seen have been far more respectful in their treatment than one would expect - I point you to the article by the Washington Post, above, as an example. The writer interviews Tod, and reports on the story from the points of view of a number of different folks involved with the story, including the village mayor.

It's not all roses:
Speaking to the assembled residents at a village hall, Mayor Arlene A. Juracek called the business "a mayor's worst nightmare." She urged residents to avoid viewing William's promotional video, noting that it has a "big ick factor" and "you can't un-view it once you see it."
"It's a business that many people find at best distasteful, but that is legal and for which no zoning or village board approval is required," she said, noting that there were no code restrictions to justify a business license denial.

Still, the article does a great job of trying to explain infantilism, as well - more than any other article I've seen on the Tykables controversy - and doesn't make a joke of us.

No punchlines = a win, to me at least.

The real debate amongst our community: is mainstream knowledge of ABDL a good thing for us.

I've always believed that positive portrayals of ABDL in the media has the potential to be a good thing. I remember seeing my first-ever Jerry Springer show featuring an ABDL - it was televised so long ago that I can't even find any references to it on the internet. But those screen grabs from the television show made the rounds on the diaper sites of the day, and this same debate raged: was a (very attractive) grown man in a diaper crawling around on Jerry Springer a good, or bad, look for us?

And by us, I mean diaper fetishists as individuals. Because we were a different community, then. So different. Hardly a community at all, really. (I'll write about that in an upcoming blog entry.) So as we fretted, we wondered how our family and friends would react if they ever saw it. The idea that it might affect a "community", per se, was hardly a concern - the idea that it might cause "us" - as individuals - some embarrassment, though, was very real.

Over time, though, I found that the episode airing in syndication, on repeat, did help. When friends found out I was into diapers they'd often reference the show as a way to say "I've heard of this, and I kind of understand it." The same when I would do "diapers for dough" - so, so often people who were hearing about it for the first time would say "okay, so diaper fetish - like that guy on Springer?"

Some of the ABDL portrayals on television since then haven't been nearly as kind to us, and I understand why people have a very real fear of any news of one of us appearing in front of the TV cameras, or any reference to infantilism in the media.

The Tykables 'scandal', so far, doesn't appear to be hurting us.

And if more people read the story and come away with an understanding of what diaper fetish is, it may well help us, on individual and community levels, in the future.

EDIT: I have to say, I think seeing stories about the Tykables store instead of the usual "diaper fetish" Google search results containing 1) hardcore porn sites and 2) child sex abuse arrests - often the results that pop up on the front page of any search for the term - would be an obvious plus.

I'll keep an eye on this story, as I'm sure we all will. But for the meantime I'll reserve passing judgment. As long as we continued to be portrayed as able to keep our very adult interests 18+, I think - I hope - we'll be okay.

Have an opinion on this? Email me: abysitter@gmail.com.

NOTE: Because I've been asked by a number of people in the past few days who remember the promotional posts, I'll clarify it again: not officially connected to Snuggies or Tykables in any way. Just a supporter of anyone trying to market a product to the community. But to those who expressed concern, thanks. You may want to send those same sentiments to Tod lol.

CONTEST! Honorable Mentions!

LOOKING FOR THE RESULTS?

VISIT

SADLY,
NOT EVERYONE COULD WIN.

But I want to share
a little of what was shared with me
during the contest entry period
in May.

First, a few people took their first-ever ABDL pics
expressly for this contest.

Like AlexBunnyBoy,
from Florida, who for days afterward
was the only entry.

It was starting to look like he might be on his way to TeddyCon
just by virtue of being the only contestant!

Then, slowly but surely, 56 other people entered.

I think 55 of them entered in the last hour.
Hehe. Ugh!

DiaperLad935 also deserves a follow,
for the same reason.

First photo, first story,
and super-enthusiastic about the contest.

And how about Atti?
He's actually the baby gracing the banner
at the top of this blog.
He and I are FetLife friends,
but he created a Tumblr account
just to keep up with this contest.

Give him a follow, would you?

YourLittleTeddy
made a special trip to the Tykables store
in Chicago, Illinois
for the backdrop for his pictures.

They were a favorite
in a number of different categories
where the voting was close.

If I had a #1 runner up prize
for the most almost-wins, it would go to
YourLittleTeddy.

TuxedoDiaper had taken a number of ABDL pics before,
but his contest pic is the first ever with his face,
a big step for almost anyone
in our community.

Enlarge the sign, and it'll make more sense.

Props to you, bro!

James/Alexander
also took his first ABDL photo for the contest.

He bought a huge bag of diapers
and was going to do something a little more elaborate
but the window of no family was short,
and now that bag of diapers
is hidden away again.

He already has some ideas for next year's contest.
And, it seems, plenty of diapers ready...

Finally, a shout out to two people
who have allowed me to use their 2012 and 2013 contest photos
to promote this contest.

SubBoyInDiapers
has contributed to the blog
and I've used his photos for promotional material
all over.

And Mojo, too -
his photo in hockey gear is
one of the most shared on my blog.

It often appears in contest materials.
Thanks, Mojo!

CONTEST! Grand Prize Winner!

GRAND PRIZE
ONE FREE TICKET TO TEDDYCON 2016
THREE NIGHTS AT THE HOST HOTEL (THU - SAT)

Also...
One bag of ABU diapers, in size of winner's choice.
One bag of BareBum diapers, in size of winner's choice.

And...

The grand prize has been generously donated
by TeddyCon

TeddyCon will run October 13 - 16
in Allentown, PA.

I've purchased my ticket. I booked my hotel room.
I'm still not 100% sure I'll be able to be there,
but if I am, it will be my first time,
and I look forward to meeting so many of you.

Guaranteed to be there will be
our grand prize winner.

And our winner is...

Well, first, I should mention, again,
that the difference between the grand prize, second, and third place
in this contest was just 1 vote each

It was incredibly close.

If you hear anyone complain about the results of the contest,
who acknowledges that they didn't vote,
slap them in face with a diaper
for me, please.

And remember this lesson
when it comes time to get your padded bums to the polls
in November (USA people).

Now, our winner...

...drumroll please...

DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA...

I know that this one is not really a surprise to many of you.

I know this because so many of you told me
you were going to enter,
but decided not to when you saw this picture.

ThePaddedPunk
has one of the most recognizable
bottoms in the ABDL community.

And people tell me they were inspired
by the relationship
between Punk and ThePaddedPro
depicted in these photos.

I was sure they'd go with a spanking shot,
and wondered if that would make a difference?

In the end they went with
the one that depicts safety.

It obviously resonated with our community voters.

Here's their winning picture from 2013:

Look forward to meeting you both
at TeddyCon.

Congratulations!

Now, stay tuned for my next entry,
for some thoughts from me...
