I try not to use pictures I don't have permission to put up. If I didn't have standards, instead of the list above I would just post pictures that show examples of what I love. Kitty Pryde - Diaper Pryde?

A non-ABDL I know on Fb who is aware of my diaper identity sent me a link to an article on indie artist Kitty Pryde. In it she is asked about her favorite websites, and she mentions that, among them, her favorites are diaper fetish blogs. 

Really.

If you are not familiar with who she is, neither was I. Probably because I am not a teenage boy. But she is growing in Internet fame with many saying soon to be real-life fame, as the singer of the song "Okay Cupid."

Google it. It's an ode to Justin Bieber or something.

It turns out she is from Daytona Beach, 45 minutes from me. She is currently on some sort of national tour. Read on, from the San Francisco Bay Guardian:

Also, someone sent me an email letting me know about her latest Tumblr entry, one in which she answers a question about being ABDL by suggesting that she was joking. I went to her blog and saw the question. I definitely hope that the original question she was asked didn't specifically name any ABDL blogs, especially this one! Someone else texted me with a link to an ADISC profile I couldn't access. That would be my guess... since that site is "all ages" there's a good chance that's where someone under 18 would be chillin'. A third person emailed me to let me know that yesterday the Tumblr listed above randomly followed his ABDL Tumblr. So... know knows.

• When did you first realize you were ABDL?

Diapers have been a part of my life since the age of 5 or so. I first fully became aware of ABDL in 8^th grade. I felt alone and like I was the only one out there like myself. I started searching on the Internet and came across such sites as: DPF and ABY.

• What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

Growing up with my secret, I did many things to get my "fix." I used to take diapers from by babysitter's daughter, make makeshift diapers out of multiple pairs of underwear/towels and trash bags, stole diapers from retail stores (not my proudest moment), and finally started buying my own while in high school.

• Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

In order to answer this question about myself it is important to know that when I was growing up I lived with my mother (who is Southern Baptist and VERY conservative). Growing up with my parents divorced was extremely hard for me, but I made it through. When I was forced out of the closet, I came out of the ABDL closet as well. It was back in October 2005 and my older sister had over heard a conversation I was having with a guy on my cell phone outside. When I came in, she told me "You either tell mom, or I will." So, I built up as much courage as I could and told my mom I needed to talk to her. I took her to her room and said "Mom, I don't know how to tell you this, but I am gay." She freaked out saying "Of all my children, I NEVER thought that Satan would use you against me." Things settled down for a couple of days. Then one day when I came home from my after school job, my life had changed, as I knew it. My mother was so off the handle that I called my grandparents to come over. I told them that I was gay and couldn't stand their daughter. I ended up going to live with them for about a month. While I was staying with them "the light of God" showed my mother what was "hidden in the darkness." She broke into my locked filing cabinet and found my gay literature, and broke into a locked suitcase (with the help of my older sister) and came across…you guessed it, my diapers. Everything was confiscated, and I was not given access to it until I threatened to call the police and tell them she stole my property. As to the rest of my family finding out, my mother told them for me. My father had called while I was staying with my grandparents and asked about the diapers and me being gay. I told him everything in my own way and he only told me "Son, I love you and don't care if you are gay and ABDL, I just want you to be safe and happy." Out of my entire family, I am only truly accepted by my father and his side of the family. So yes, my parents, siblings, and most (not all) of my friends know that I am gay and wear diapers.

• Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

Oh, hell yes! I have dealt with the same and regret of binging and purging my diapers and accessories. After I fully accepted myself as gay and ABDL, I quickly stopped throwing things out (unless I am re-selling them). I realized that it is a part of who I am AND that I was just throwing away my hard earned money. 

• For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?

I will still answer this because while I was living with my mother I was in college for the fall and part of the spring semester. Diapers in college for the most part were secret. Only a few close friends knew about me liking diapers and being ABDL. I wore to classes and no one knew, and if they did, they didn't care.

• How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating?

I refuse to let someone say that I can't have my cake and eat it too! Anyways, this fetish has not really affected my social life. I am pretty much an open book, and like I have previously stated, almost all of my friends know about my fetish. As to dating, I usually stick with trying to date people who are already part of this fetish, as a way to make it easier. If I ever date someone outside of the fetish, it will be on the second date that my fetish is revealed. As one of my favorite quotes goes: "If you want to be a part of my life, I am not editing out the parts you don't like!" ~ Arnold, 'Torch Song Trilogy' (1988). I believe that you shouldn't change a part of who you are to please someone else (unless it is harmful to your health).

• Some experts believe that we become the way we are because of traumas experienced at an early age, including abuse and/or neglect. Do your life experiences bear this out?

I personally believe that this is true for me. When I was younger around the age of 5, my mom had a boyfriend who lived with us. One day we were going to my great aunt's house and on the way I started calling him a baby for some reason. He told me that if I didn't stop calling him a baby, when we got home he would show me who the baby was. Of course, I kept it up and when we got home, I was sent to my room. My mom and her boyfriend came in and told me to lie down on the bed. That is when I saw one of my little sisters diapers. I started to cry, but it had no effect. I was diapered and made to stay in my room. After a couple of hours I was allowed to take the diaper off. I said that I was not a baby and threw the diaper away. To this day I can still picture myself in bed, under the covers feeling the diaper, and crying. Well, as you can see, diapers now are a part of what makes me "me."

• For the little dunces, please tell us about what it was like to discover this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet. Please be at least 18 at the time of writing, but be specific about what age you discovered it, what sites helped you, and keep this part PG for obvious reasons.

When I discovered this fetish/lifestyle on the Internet it was like a divine intervention for me. I previously stated that I found DPF and ABY while in 8^thgrade, but those sites just showed me that I am not alone; I am not a freak of nature, I am normal.

• Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissy babies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

My interests do involve a subset of this community. Besides ABDL I also get into being in a wet/messy diaper (messy only when there is time to do that), WS, and some light to mild BDSM.

• What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

Hmmm, I would say 50% for sexual activities/masturbation involving diapers. Yet, I can still have sexual relationships and get off without having diapers involved. Does this constitute as an answer or is this a trick question?!

• If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.

I do get into the regression aspect of ABDL. I enjoy being able to be in a state where I am treated just like a baby by a daddy. I love being diapered, fed, and cuddled, etc. However, I have to be in the right frame of mind and with the right person to truly regress.

Well, all I can say is that in regards to the ABDL lifestyle, I would like to note the percentages. I am 60% AB and 40% DL, but it can flip flop depending on my mood.

When it comes to the rest of me, well, I am a multi-faceted person. ABDL does not make up 100% of who I am; it is just a part of me that I don't think will ever disappear. I have come so far in the past 6 years and am very proud of myself for that.

Diaper Tapes? New Diapers?

Up today I have five new photos from a recent visit with Dman420.

You'll notice that he is a popular figure in my recent pictures: he is both all cool, and someone willing to pose for photoshoots. You will see more from him in the near future...

A bunch of you have asked me for a review on the duct tape I purchased to stand in for the diaper tapes no longer available at DiaperTapes.ch.

Also, a bunch of you have asked me what kind of diaper he is wearing in these pictures.

First, the diaper is none other than the Attends brief in a youth/small size. It looks more babyish than you would expect because of the tapes, but it is a rarely-seen baby blue color, and it definitely is eye-catching in the pictures.

I obtained two bags of these diapers in 2008 or 2009. I was forced to stand in line to buy regular Attends at a local pharmacy frequented by pain pill addicts - a huge problem here in Florida. I waited almost 30 minutes because they had an amazing sale on Attends: a bag for $14, down from the regularly priced $20 plus you normally see in stores here.

I bought the bag I came for, and the girl behind the counter asked me if I wanted a deal on the small/youth size. I had bought the last bag in size medium, and she said the pharmacy owner was having to stop selling that product because they didn't have room for diapers with all of the medication traffic they were getting. She told me she felt bad that I had to wait so long and said she'd sell them to me at a huge markdown. I told her I didn't need them, and she explained that they were trying to get them off of the shelves and she would sell them to me for five dollars a bag.

You know I couldn't pass up that offer, so I figured I would wait until I got someone with a bum small enough to fit into them. A few years later... lol.

The tapes, as mentioned in a previous blog entry, are Duck-brand duct tape from Wal-Mart. What you see in the pictures below is the "skater" tape. I swear I have seen this exact tape in pictures before, and always thought it was either diaper tapes or some special kind of diaper. It's not. It's cheap, strong, effective, and available at Walmart. And it is cute: tell me this doesn't make this diaper look even more babyish?

As I type this I am sitting in my car watching planes land - another hobby of mine lol. I am in a soaking wet Dry 24/7. I have probably wet three times and it must weigh a few pounds, but I feel like I could pull my shorts off and go jogging because this tape is so strong.

I can't recommend it highly enough.

I do miss the days of being able to buy diaper tapes online, but this is a nice stand-in. Next up, I'll have pictures of the SpongeBob diaper tapes...

Diaper Pics: Dman420

Up today I have a set of diaper pictures from my recent shoot with Dman420. 

NOTE: These pictures were taken at a park which is, sadly, infamously known for being a place where gay guys go to get it on in the woods. One thing I have always abhorred is public sex meetups in the gay community; much like people within our community meeting up with underagers, the reputation of an entire group of people is tarnished when stuff like this goes on. It is called "cruising." I have personally been approached by men in this park on four or five occasions, and it pisses me off... I don't do cruising, I prefer just come to this park to enjoy nature - and chill in Pampers Cruisers, hehe.

We hope to do more pictures in public in the future. These are kind of semi public because we didn't want to be totally stripped down to diapers and risk some innocent, unsuspecting family walking up upon us on the dock... lol. Lucky for us we were the only people in that part of the park the entire time we were there. Also, because it was freezing.

And now for the questions. Just delete or ignore any which do not apply to you.

The questions are:

• When did you first realize you were ABDL?

I first came to realize that I was an Adult Baby when I was around the age of 12.  See I had been a bedwetter from the time that I was potty trained until the age of 10 or 11. During that time I wet the bed every single night and didn't have any real form of protection until I was around 6 or 7. My parents caved and bought me Goodnites to help me get a good nights sleep and to make the laundry less painful for them. Well about a year after I had stopped wetting, I started to realize that the commercials for baby diapers on the TV gave me funny feelings and that I really for some reason was intrigued by them. From that point being a child of my generation I went to the great know all source of information, the internet. I started to do searches on google with phrases like:

"Is it weird if a 12 year old wants to wear diapers?"

"Why does a pre-teen want to wear diapers?"

From there I found various sources about being a Teen baby and one of them was Deeker's Diaper page. Now I know this was not a great source of information in retrospect, but it was what I had to work with. From there things started to slowly build up from their, and I realized for the first time that I was a Teen Baby.

• What steps did you take to get your diaper 'fix' as a child and/or teen?

Well as a kid I was frightened to death of buying diapers and that fear really still existed until I was about 16 or 17 years old. Well from the ages of 12-14, I never really got my hands on a real diaper. At that time I had just made the transition from white briefs to boxer briefs so I had all my old "little kid" underwear that I didn't want to wear to school, because all the boys were boxers or boxer-briefs. So I would at night, steal a roll of paper towels from the kitchen and put on a pair of the briefs. I would line the entire thing with a think liner of paper towels to simulate a diaper. In the end it was wasteful and not very satisfying but got me through that part of growing up as a ABDL.

• Do your parents and/or siblings know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

Well for this question I would defer to my blog because its a long and painful story that I really don't want to have to type out again or talk about any more then I need to.

• Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

Oh I have for sure, I would say that it is fair to say that I may be the king of all binge and purge cycles. Honestly since about the age of 13, I started to feel extreme guilt about my diaper side and would decide that I needed to separate this from my life. I would take whatever baby related things that I have and throw them out and then I would try to disconnect from any ABDL connections that I had online. This exact cycle has occurred to me pretty much every 6 months (If I was lucky I would last that long) from the age of 13-17. After that I had a big change in my life by meeting my daddy and he really helped me get through a lot of those feelings. I would be lying to you if I said that I am 100% secure in my diaper side and feel like I have a lot of self acceptance, but I strive one day to get to that point in my life.

• For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?

Well as of this fall (fall of 2012) I have started my freshman year of college. Diapers have really gotten pushed on the back burner for me because its really difficult to hide them in a tiny room that you share with someone else. However, I also have a lot more freedom to explore my diaper side at the same time without having to worry about my family finding out about it again. So, I would say that so far my college experience as of recently has really helped me grow in my adult baby interests because I am starting to see that everyone has their thing and that this is just mine!

• How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating?

Well so far this fetish really hasn't impacted my dating life or social life too much. This mostly has to do with the fact that I am scared shitless of being exposed to my friends and family, and the implications that it could have. But my guess is that when I do eventually settle down that it will have to be with someone that can atleast allow me to wear every once in awhile without freaking out. I would not expect to end up dating and/or marrying another ABDL or Caregiver (Althought that would be the best), simply because I think that its an unrealistic goal and narrows down the fish in the sea to too few for my liking.

• Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

Well see I have a very limited actual real life experience in anything with the diaper community but I have adopted a policy for it. See I am someone that wants to try and experience things in order to be sure if I like them. So my policy is that I will try almost anything once!

• What % of your sexual activities and/or masturbation incorporate diapers? Has this caused problems for you?

Well much to my dismay I am still a virgin and so my sexual activity with others...well is non-existent to current. But as for masturbation...well that is a whole other ball game right there. I do masturbate for sure and I would say that its safe to say that 85% of the time that I am, I am thinking about a diaper related scenario. Now I am not strictly interested in diaper related scenarios, and honestly my diaper interest are mostly non-sexual. But I have that wild teenage mind and spirit, so I tend to get a little excited and creative with it.

• If you get into the regression aspect of ABDL please tell us more about that. If you do not, and you have feelings about being lumped into a fetish involving it, explain how it makes you feel.

Well for me I am mostly focused around the regression fact of being an AB and so I do get into it. I have found that regression for me is the best way of stress relief and giving my self a sense of security in my life. Being in toddler mode just allows the stress to melt away and for me to spend a little bit of time just being a little boy with no worries or anxiety.

150,000 Views!

Whoooooopee! 150K.

Someone just texted me to congratulate me on 150,000 blog views. I checked the blog, and sure enough... 150K! 

The views at the bottom of the blog are considered daily unique views. It's a measurement of how many people view the blog on a daily basis. On January 1 we were at 104K, which means so far this year I've gotten 46,000 unique daily views. That is amazing for a blog that is not publicly searchable and doesn't advertise - besides spamming forums, of course. ;]

The numbers show that this blog's average daily views for 2012 have been 151. The clock resets every 24 hours so it means every day, on average, 151 different people check out the blog.

The number in the column to the right shows the number of total views. Every time you click on a page on my blog it adds +1 to this number. This number shows that my blog viewers tend to click on an average of 2.5 pages. This means you're not only coming to check out the latest entries, but many of you are clicking back and reading old entries too. That's what's up!

Sometimes I'll fail to post for a week or two and my blog's views will slow down. Other times my link will be featured at the top of ABKingdom, and I will get 2K views in a single day. My contest over the summer had the blog at over 200 hits daily. Still, the fact that we are averaging 150 daily viewers means I've managed to maintain where I was at the peak, last summer. You guys rock for continuing to come back on such a regular basis.

I am being honest when I say the reason people come back so much has a lot to do with my guest contributors. You who send me adorable pictures, stories, and Q&A answers? You guys rock. Please continue to be a part of this with me, and if you've never contributed, please think about doing so for the first time. In the meantime, I think every single one of you who added numbers to the 150,009. Whether today is your first visit, or you've visited every single one of the 1,432 days my blog has existed... you are the 150K I'm so proud of today.

Considering I worried nobody would ever read my blog when I first started it in November 2008, I think we are doing pretty good.

Product Alert: Diaper Duck Tape?

I was distressed to learn that the supplier of my diaper tapes, DiaperTapes.ch, Had had gone out of business recently. I looked at tapes on eBay but found them to be a bit on the expensive side and the variety not that great.

I went to Walmart to check out duct tape today. The best I was hoping for was a shade of (baby) blue. Instead I found that they have all kinds of cartoon style Duck brand tape.

• Spongebob

• Florida Gators (I'm in Florida)

• Flowers/Butterflies

• Graffiti - termed "skater" tape

• Even glow-in-the-dark!

Please note that I haven't actually tried these yet. But I bought two rolls, one for $3.97, the other for $5.97, and I am raring to go. I will let you know how they hold up after I've had a chance to try them.

My diaper of choice is the Dry 24/7, and I also sometimes wear Attends and the Wellness brief. None of these are particularly babyish, and the 24/7 especially tends to sag after a couple of wettings. I'm hoping to add some toddler flair to my diaper. These certainly won't substitute for the Cushies and Bambinos and diapers of that ilk. But for all of you who prefer the adult diapers that really hold a good wetting, maybe try these out for that extra cuteness factor.

The questions are:

• When did you first realize you were ABDL?

I was definitely young, still in high school. I remember finding DL-Boy and realizing there was this whole community who wore diapers for pleasure. At first it was exciting and thrilling, something that I wanted to taste. It’s like when you go to the ice cream shop and they have a new flavor. You are hesitant to taste it, but after you do, it’s usually a pleasant and exhilarating experience. After connecting with a few people, I found one guy who lived in my city. I was too afraid to ‘play’ so instead asked if he would drop off diapers in my mailbox. When he complied I was super happy. In those days text messaging wasn’t extremely popular, so he named a time to drive by the house. I peeked out the window waiting with bated breath. When he pulled up, delivered the diapers and drove away I immediately ran down to the mailbox, grabbed the diapers and put them on. It was my very first experience. It was simply amazing and made me realize I have a real kink for wearing.

• Does your family and/or friends know about you and diapers? If so, please explain how, and how they reacted?

You know, I’ve always been very open about my sexual and erotic interests (I consider diapers more an erotic experience). While not realizing that two men having sex and cruising each other was labeled by mainstream society as ‘gay’ when I was young, I’ve always been attracted to other men. That is not to say I’m not attracted to women, it’s just…less of an attraction. Again, I’ve been very open with my family and friends about my homosexual desires. However, diapers… I have closed it off from my family. Sure, they have found them in my room before, but I usually shrugged it off as a Halloween costume. Yet, my friends and my boyfriend know. I sort of make it a point. They have all been very open about it and most people treat it as if it’s not a big deal. It’s like an added bonus, like an inside joke, you know?

 
• Have you dealt with the shame and regret that is the binge/purge cycle? Please explain.

Ohhhh yes. I find that this is such a common experience with people who aren’t involved on a 24/7 basis. I’m always saying something like “oh, I’m not into it right now”. Then, three months later I’m searching the web looking for local stores with abenas and asking abies and dls to play. I guess it’s both the nature of the fetish and my own personal quirks. I’m scattered with most interests, so it makes sense that I’m rather fickle with my diaper desires.

• For collegebabies/DLs, did this interest affect your college experiences? If so, how?

I found college/university and grad school to be both limiting and liberating in terms of diaper play. On the one hand, having roommates and living in dorms made it much harder to buy diapers, feel comfortable having them shipped and feel comfortable wearing with roommates right outside my door. On the other hand, summers and breaks between semesters allowed me to hang out with different kinds of people involved in the ‘community’. I mean, when am I going to ever have three months of the year to just travel and hang out all the time? University. Additionally, the classes I took involving queer theory and sexuality studies allowed me to explore myself and tell myself that wearing diapers was okay. I didn’t need approval from mainstream society. Mainstream society it would seem makes caricatures of abies. So yes, my diaper fetish did affect my college experiences, but mostly in a positive way.

• How has this fetish affected your social life and/or dating?

Being social with a vast group of people is really important to me. This tendency might be one of the reasons why I’m so open about my erotic and sexual interests. Taking this into account, I also know that not everyone is totally open or even worse, says they are okay with it but when they are in my diapered presence change their mind. So, I really gotta watch out for these sorts of situations. Therefore, while I am open about my desires, I’m also cognizant that I live in a society which doesn’t speak fondly of diaper boys or even more-than-normal hairy people.

• How does body hair influence your diaper fetish?

I find that people in every sexual and fetish group (gays, lesbians, bisexuals, heteros, leather daddies, boys, bears, diaper lovers, adult babies, etc.) has a representation of what is considered desirable. For abies, this means hairless. I have gotten a range of negative comments concerning my body hair. I understand that trimming my hair around my genitals is important for diaper changes, but the rest? I mean, come on. You can’t expect every AB to completely shave themselves. I love my hair so much and I think others do as well, which is why I refuse to shave or trim the majority of my body hair. Which brings me to an important point: my body hair allows me to be masculine while still being a submissive baby boy. Whether or not I’m playing a baby, I still think of myself as an man who wishes to be submissive and be put into diapers. There is never a thought in my mind that I am not 24 and my hair helps to reinforce that feeling.

• Do your interests involve a subset of this community, such as babyfurs, diaper disciplinarians, wet/messy, sissybabies etc.? Please tell us about it. I won't even try to be specific here; just tell us what you think people should know.

As I have stated previously, I am a very social person and that also means that it is sometimes hard for people to dominate me. I’m always talking and chatting and it takes a real daddy to shut my trap and order me to do things. I love when a man dominates me, when he tells me to sit on his lap, what to do, how to do it, etc.

Other interests include, thick wet diapers. I love it when I feel the wet soggy thick diaper between my legs. I love it when the thick diaper forces me to waddle around.

• Anything else?

Well, I am moving to Seattle soon to live with my partner. I am super excited to live on the West coast as I have only visited a few times. If anyone is reading and is in the area, I am usually searching for play friends and a potential daddy. If you want to chat, I’m always up for a little conversation.
